Very fun gameplay, surprisingly good story! Unfortunately, the lack of translations means you'll have to learn Japanese, but I enjoyed it even with my limited Japanese knowledge. this is SO fun. the story is nice and I do recommend going through it to unlock the bonus gun for arcade mode (which is really fun to use)... but yeah. arcade mode is GREAT. each run is super short, the gunplay is nice and responsive, the currency system is actually really unique.... and grinding out the elusive SSS+++ rank has been very cathartic!! (you should use mei and the F9A1 for that btw.)1 found this helpful
Story mode? There's a story mode. But we're not gonna talk about it, because I haven't played it, and I'm not gonna. The second mode is the arcade mode. And this is why you buy the game. You get an fps-roguelike and it. is. good. Pick your girl, pick your gun, and go. You start the floor by picking either the easy or hard door (with a numerical level). You clear each room by shooting all the targets and racing to the exit. You get +10 seconds added to your time remaining, every time you enter a new room. After several rooms, you complete the floor. At the end of the floor, you visit the perk shop. You spend your "time remaining" to buff your character. The meta comes from balancing upgrading your character, and choosing harder floors. Pay attention to your time remaining when clearing each room. If you clear the first room with 15 seconds remaining, and clear the following rooms with less time remaining... you might not want to buy an extra perk at the end of the shop, OR you might want to lower the difficulty in the next floor so you don't fail. You repeat this cycle till you beat all 10 floors, or lose. You will be graded and given a score based on your stats. Should I …1 found this helpful
