Golf Gambit

I was genuinely excited for this game because the core idea is great. Somehow, though, almost every part of it feels like it was shoved out the door half-finished. The maps feel poorly designed, the actual ball-hitting feels clunky, and the content is laughably thin. There are only four maps, which would already be rough, but the real joke is that the courses barely feel different from each other. Some holes are straight-up identical, sometimes even within the same map. The only real “variety” seems to be a background swap and some different ambience, as if that magically turns recycled layouts into new content. It is a good concept buried under lazy execution. For a game built around mini-golf, it is honestly impressive how little care seems to have gone into the courses or the feel of playing them. Great idea, poor execution.

I honestly bought Golf Gambit after watching a YouTuber play it with his friends and thinking, this looks fun—I want to try it with my own friends. After buying and playing it, I can say it’s genuinely a blast. The gameplay is chaotic in the best way, and the things you can do—like blowing your friends up with a nuke—are absolutely hilarious and guaranteed to make everyone mad (in a fun way ofc). 100% recommend this game.

I got it from a bundle, anything over a couple of dollars and i feel like it wouldn't be worth it. Ill stick with golf with friends. Lots of wasted time between rounds, takes a couple of seconds to register that you actually mad it into the hole. Ball feels like it sticks to the green until it hits a ramp then it feels like its flying. Overall the game feels clunky. Graphics are enjoyable, the traps are a little gimmicky and easily avoided. Overall i think there are better minigolf games out there
