so the game starts out a bit rough you get to choose 1 of 3 weapons, if you are not careful only one of them is useful for combat, the rest is more for mobility. which kind of complicates things because you need all 3 to be able to wall climb, boost, bounce on hazards, and grapple, even then you need to swap between them frequently to get the most of your mobility. but the main reason for the negative review is because i thought at 1 point i needed a double jump, i ran around the map looking for it but could not find it to save my life until i decided to go back to that spot, turns out i needed to make my own double jump by upwards slashing, boosting upwards then dashing to a grapple and so forth. after that i said no this aint for me, i prefer the more main streamed platformers thank you

Edit: I read someone else's review that recommended using the auto-swap feature in the "Custom" difficulty level and it is vastly improved the game. The biomes are still too large and empty without nearly enough fast travel points, but now the game feels like it is playable instead of a slog. I still won't recommended it to others, because according the devs, the slog is part of the Normal experience, but I will likely now actually finish it. First Review: The platforming in this game is worse than difficult: it is annoying. Platforming requires the player to switch between three separate weapons to use that particular weapon's grapple, upward thrust, and fireball throw to gain enough height to make certain platforms. This would be fine if it was one or two specific difficult areas, but it is for most rooms, which makes moving through rooms slow, which quickly becomes tedious when you have to back track. Other issues: Rooms are extremely large and feel very empty. In addition to the annoying platforming, you have to traverse very large areas without having much to interact with. The voice acting also really annoyed me, primarily because the protagonist narrates every thought.…

Wondering game. Very unique take on metrovania. Story was awesome.

Game was fun so far but I hit a progression blocker bug. I found Jasper, he requested a treasure map. I found the first part of the map but then when I talk to him he won't go back to the hideout and give me the 2nd part for Sputnik. Tried restarting, talking to him again, no dice. Unfortunately I can't progress the game so that is the only reason I can't recommend this. Edit: joined the discord hoping for help, only to find out it's abandonware . sad.

First I would like to preface that I mostly liked this game and I played on the hard mode. I've played most of the metroidvanias which the market has provided in these decades. But that shouldn't matter one bit if you wanna enjoy any game. But I can go for the good points: - Really large map - Boss fights were good - Decent upgrade mechanisms. This is three-way combination: firstly you upgrade your skills through your 3 different weapons. Secondly by inplants (same as charm in hollow knight) and third one is injectors which is your main way to heal. Not so good ones: - Backtracking is pretty bad since quests go into different areas and the game only give you the ability to fast travel in these spesific places. It starts to get really annoying pretty fast since the areas are so large. This would easily be better by being able to fast travel into save points. I played this after Fatal Claw so it made obvious which kind of approach really works. - The early game and the movement mechanichs were fine but it didn't really bring anything. There are 3 different weapons which all are needed for spesific movements but it's too bad that sword is mostly the best. This is way troublesome since…

Very nice game. In my opinion, you should increase the difficulty so you can enjoy it. I really liked the story and the background music.
