I made it to Tenroh. Died twice. It would be an easy fight, except all of your moves have a horrible delay between the button press and the execution. Since responsive controls are the #1 requirement for a game of this genre being fun, it's a no from me.

Very crude and feels like the group's first game.

Its a decent metroidvainia. Overall I do like the art, story is passable and the exploration does its job. It feels like a game made to show they can make one but its by the numbers and does nothing spectacular and I hope that whatever project they do next feels like it has more passion. The references to genre cliches were a bit much but it is what it is, just an example of what I mean with a by the numbers feel. I will add that there is a path of pain light section towards the end that tbh does not have tight enough controls to pull off without some frustration, and generally I find the controls to be stiff. This isn't a complaint but I expected the main character to be a girl and something about it being boy does lessen it a bit for some reason but I am aware that shouldn't be held against the game. It's an enjoyable enough game for a first time dev and I think there is enough here to like about the game, I know others will like it more than I do and despite the negative tone of the review do like it and want others to play it. 6.5/10

It's a time waster. Not bad, not great. I enjoyed that later bosses kinda carry the attack or similar attack to earlier bosses to test your learning, however easy boss fights/game. Some platforming were enjoyable. Nothing that stands out once you beat the game its forgettable. Id give it a 6/10. I have to give it a a thumb up not because i really recommend it (which i dont).. only because it isn't a really bad game.

This game has cost me more brain cells than anything else. The "Indian-accented English" voice acting for NPCs and some bosses is unlistenable, so I’ve switched to Spotify instead. The main character is incredibly annoying he won't stop yapping about everything he does and stating the obvious stuff. The hitboxes are terrible that u get hit by something that was suppose to not hit you, but I have to admit that those platform challenges are really well and originally designed they get at least one point for that.. but otherwise It’s a hard pass from me, and I’ve played tons of Metroidvanias.
