About Fields of Gold
Fields of Gold is a charming and engaging casual farming game where your goal is to transform plots of land into a prosperous farm.
Begin your journey by tilling small patches of earth, growing and harvesting a variety of crops. As your farm flourishes, you can expand your fields and unlock the ability to build manufactories, where your crops are processed into valuable goods. Each successful harvest and expansion brings new challenges and opportunities, testing your farming skills and strategic thinking.
But it's not all peaceful farming – watch out for the cheeky rabbits that are always on the hunt for tasty crops – especially yours! Arm yourself with dynamite and protect your fields from these ravenous invaders.
Will you turn your Fields of Gold into a thriving agricultural empire, or will the rabbits have the last laugh?

The visuals are pretty good. Planting and harvesting wheat and carrots is pretty fun. Unfortunately, the game never gives you a good reason to care about planting and harvesting anything. There are buildings that process the materials into new better things but you have to click on each one individually. I would normally count that as "gameplay", but it is not interesting at all. The buildings should automatically process stuff into money. At least it is cheap, but this is definitely an instance of a thumbs sideways would be appropriate. https://youtu.be/k8xhaGYakhI7 found this helpful
It's fairly fun and a good game to get into the management sim genre. The only real drawbacks for me are possible lag from collecting mass resources, and rabbits being fairly finnicky to blow up as their hitboxes are small, and cannot be hit by dragging the mouse. I'd say this game just needs a few quality of life touch ups and it would honestly be almost flawless. Especially for the price, it's a good game.
