"Play With Me" is a rather poorly made Unity asset flipped adventure/puzzle game with a "Toy Story" theme... the idea is you have to destroy a bunch of Unity Assets within a very short time frame. And that's about it. The flipped Unity assets are combined with a godawful control scheme which is mostly what lead to this being an abject failure, but at least the devs were partially genuine (apart from the flipped assets) and didn't try to scam people out of money for this. The game was developed and published by Pedro González-Anta, David Ortiz, and Fran Chapa, with its independent origins reflected in its focused scope and straightforward presentation. The most appealing part of the concept is the perspective. Ordinary household surroundings become substantially different when experienced as a tiny toy. Furniture and common objects can become obstacles, while electronic devices effectively serve as objectives that must be reached and dealt with. This change of scale gives the environment more personality than its familiar setting might initially suggest. The pirate protagonist also brin…
