Do Not Disturb (2025)

I really tried to give this game a fair shot. I don't like giving new solo devs poor reviews, but I just can't recommend it for the $7 list price. I don't think this is $7 worth of quality. It uses annoying generic sounds and jumpcare events that are used in tons of cheap indie horror games and is very short. The game can easily be beaten in 30 minutes, which isn't bad in itself, but I think it should be a very good 30 minutes of gameplay for $7. This just didn't meet that bar for me. I did like the environment. I don't think I've played a game in that place before. And it did run pretty well. But the game did crash on me toward the end, then I had to play it all over again since there is no saves. Then there was seemingly a bug at the very end where I got stuck and couldn't trigger the ending. I would probably recommend this for $3 if it gets a bug fix and saves. I understand that some devs think their game should be played in one setting, and this game should easily be completed in one setting, but that should be up to the player who bought the game and things like crashes can happen. I enjoyed playing it. The ambiance, music, voice acting and translations were great. The story is understandable and the mechanics are good. It's a good game. Thank you.

Thought it could be good, standing in the lobby for the first time had me impressed with the game's atmosphere and visuals, but the ill timed jumpscares kinda ruin it. Not bad, but I'd like to see the developers make a longer game with a more detailed story and better scares. Maybe more puzzles to incentivize the player to use the camera to log details and information. If you did like this game, play "The Painscreek Killings".

When I completed 90% of the game, it suddenly stopped for no reason, and there's no save file. I'm extremely frustrated.

There's no challenge to this game. Too predictable.
