This is a great self-contained puzzle game. It doesn't require looking things up on the internet, as long as you have a basic understanding of chess, horoscopes, and algebra. The clues in each room are very helpful to guiding the player toward the intended solution. If you enjoyed Blue Prince or reading Maze or just enjoy puzzles, this will be right up your alley.

I understand this is a one-man-job and was done for a Bachelor(?)'s degree, and as such it is a nice mediocre pastime - but if you expect challenging (or at least above-average) puzzles (and more than say 12 of them...), this game is not for you. There are better games for 10 bucks out there.

I really love games like outerwilds, blue prince, return to the obra dinn, and some others. I thought I had found an indie gem that would scratch that same itch. I love the artstyle and atmosphere. The mansion is so well designed, and even includes bunnies inscribed in the walls on the outer-edges most players will never go. the level of detail is incredible. The puzzles are equally detailed, but not explained very well. I don't recommend this game simply because the puzzles made me feel like ♥♥♥♥ trying to solve them. Instead of piecing things together and using logic to deduce solutions, it was more like slamming my head into a brick wall until finding a hidden door. It's not for me because I'm not great at these types of games (beating outerwilds took me like 60 hours when it takes most people 15-25). It obviously has a lot of love put into it though, and I think anyone who likes very difficult old school adventure games should give it a try it. Even though I'm refunding, I'm very interested to see what the dev makes next because they are clearly skilled & creative.

An interesting collection of self contained puzzles, that can be quite challenging. There is a light narrative expressed through letters.

Full disclaimer: I've only solved two rooms, and 2 others I "solved' but needed to look up the solutions because of, quite frankly, some low-quality polish on the game. That being said, I'm still going to recommend this game because those looking for tough brain-teasers using 3-dimensional spaces will still find some enjoyment out of this. Also, I will not be finishing this game because I simply cannot be bothered to fight with the poor quality-of-life that is walking around this game. Spoilers ahead --- The first room does a nice job of setting some expectations for the puzzles to follow. There's a riddle/puzzle presented to you in common-enough terms, but in order to push through to the "actual solution", you'll need to look around the room(s) for hints, contextual clues, and specific info. Foyer was okay - I solved in about 5 minutes, but noticed that the controls and limited perspective hindered me a bit. Not enough to say "the puzzle is impossible", but enough to say "I really wish the room-specific hint/clue/key to solving the puzzle was easier to physically look at in the game's viewfinder". I pushed past it, however, cause it was intriguing. Room 10 was the astrology r…

A decent, short puzzle game. I'd say I enjoyed about 40% of the puzzles. The rest we're either frustrating or just okay. Atmosphere is nice, drawing heavy inspiration visually and musically from Blue Prince. Didn't really like the "optional" hint system where they put notes all over the rooms. Some of these hint notes give away too much, and ignoring them leaves the possibility of missing an important, less optional note. Enjoyed it enough to finish all rooms, but not enough to finish the puzzle found at the end of the game, so there might have been something I missed. I would recommend buying it for half price concidering the short lenght and inconsistant puzzle quality.
