I had a spare dollar in my Steam wallet and decided to pick this one up, since I've always found these kinds of physics-based puzzles, where you draw the solution and it solidifies, to be fun, although I think they're more common on mobile devices because of the touchscreen and their casual nature. What’s good about Squiggle Drop on Steam? Mainly a huge number of well-designed levels, with a wide range of difficulty, some will be a piece of cake, whilst others will tempt you to use the help feature. Visually, although simple, the execution is quite polished, so in sum, it's a recommendable little game. doodle- and physics-based mobile port that could've used a more pc-friendly ui. draw things in the designated area to achieve various goals, like moving or destroying things. everything has to be drawn without lifting the pencil, as it were, because as soon as you let go, the doodle falls and the level is either finished or failed, in some cases requiring a manual reset. the last doodle's silhouette remains in the drawing area, makes it easier to make adjustments, but it'd be even better if there was a grid to measure and scale. [b]some timing is involved[/b] with moving parts and such. they keep reappearing or coming back but in a few cases it would've been better if they only showed up when the drawing was done, which they do on many other occasions. [b]300 puzzles in 30 packs[/b], dailies are chosen from these too. all 10 stages are available within a pack that unlocks with a certain number of stars, one per solved level. 234 is enough for everything but the second batch only opens after doing all the levels in the first. bit weird. I picked this up during the sale for under $2, and I'm only 7 levels in, but already here to recommend this game! It's one of the most charming, chill puzzle games I've played! Well worth the $1.87!

--> This game runs in Manjaro Linux without the use of proton or wine <-- Being a game nut for Q Remastered (and it's entire series of games), I wanted to find something a bit easier on the palette and Squiggle Drop is exactly the remedy for the itch I was trying to scratch! With the same premise as Q, this game is much easier but just as tricky to create and draw the proper lines and shapes to fulfill your goal that is being asked. Squiggle Drop is just as clever as Q is and isn't going to ruin your brain in the process. Just draw the proper item in the box and let the game do the rest. It's that simple. With very nice graphics and animation you're greeted with some very fun puzzles. The music and sound are zany and fun, being well done along with being crystal clear for your enjoyment. This game really looks easy but isn't. It's just fun! Highly recommended game for those that want a decent break from reality and from some of the more intensive games out there. This game was well made and playing it will show that.
