Detective Club: Gallery of Shadows Collector's Edition

Well, if there ever was a game genre that would be first in line to be over flooded by AI, it'd be the HOG, and here we are. AI tools can be great, especially when it comes to like cross references for important info or using with cameras at trains stations to help prevent sewer slides by identifying patterns and erratic behaviors etc. There are many occasions and practices were AI can be used to great advantage, development and evolution. It is not very appreciated to replace human made art however. It takes work away from real artists, it is very cynical in its interpretation of what art is and means, and on top of this it is also very bad for the environment, costing a lot of water and energy to produce. As the Poland based Artifex Mundi game dev company stopped releasing HOG titles on Steam, the top spot was open to a replacement to take, and Do Games Limited (prev Russian now based in Cyprus?) seem to be a very active contender, releasing a lot of games with short intervals. And as a HOG fan, I was hoping for someone willing to take the place and fill my personal need for relaxing and therapeutic games with the added endorphin rushes that achievements get me. All in all it IS a good game... BUT to get the best end you HAVE to get the DLC. There is a lot of content going missing if you do not have it either. You can't even get all the achievments if you don't have it.... I gotta give credit where credit is due though, the graphics are beautiful and it's amazing to see animations like these in a HOG. Won't be purchasing any more from this publisher though if I can help it... :/

game got stuck, cutscene didn't trigger :(

This is a phenomenal game, one of the best HOG's I've ever played. The animations & voiceovers are absolutely top-notch. The game has unique mini-puzzles and the solutions to tasks are clever; not too obvious but never illogical either so it's a pleasure to solve. Crystal clear graphics and a great vintage atmosphere. Click on things (like pictures or lights) and there are special animations that happen, a really cool touch adding extra interest to the game.

The story is fun and i loved all the mini games and HoGs, but I felt like I was missing a lot without the DLC.
