This is more of an old school style mystery game with hidden and morphing objects, as well as many puzzles. The unfortunate thing with the puzzles is that they don't have instructions as to how to complete them and I lose patience quickly. I am much more interested in the stories which are interesting in this game. Lots of places to explore too. Well done!

For a game that's made for mobile players, there's a few things you must consider: The game has no assistance in walkthroughs, the puzzles/minigames you get in the main storyline do not tell you exactly what you need to do, and that's the most frustrating part, because you'd spend hours trying to solve a puzzle sometimes. Since these games are in general my cup of tea, I didn't really try to find absolutely every flaw in existence, rather I enjoyed the three different crime investigations, which are also connected to each other. 100%ing the game isn't something I'd recommend if you're a casual player, but it does definitely give you the satisfaction of having all achievements.

Enjoyed Mystery Detective Adventure's three separate story-line segments in one game. Superior graphics, expanding story lines, artwork, soothing music. Hidden Object, Adventure HOPA at its finest. Challenging puzzles. Developers at their best to present worthy, yet solvable challenges. For this, I thank you. There's nothing worse than having having a great game as Mystery Detective Adventure spoiled with too simplistic puzzles. Great Adventures await. More exciting news is Mystery Detective Adventure 2 is now available.

I liked the game for the most part but at the end I almost went with "not recommended", for one reason. The last puzzle of the game is the only timed one of the bunch, and I couldn't get it fast enough. Then I eventually just hit skip. But it didn't just skip the puzzle, it skipped right to the "Case is solved"! So I never got to see the end and going to Youtube to see it isn't very satisfying. I, like many people, play this sort of game because there is no pressure and I just wanted to let others know that it does this at the end. Also I found it annoying that there was no description of the puzzles, just "solve it". Most are well done, and you can figure out what to do based on similar games or intuition, but a few aren't as obvious. The game looks good, the voice acting is decent, but to not see how it ends because you can't get past the only timed puzzle of the game just seems really unfair. The other two cases are worth the sale price though so I'll recommend based on that.
