Whilst not generally a fan of horror games, I very much enjoyed the clever puzzles, and a immersive story! Overall a very enjoyable game.

Short puzzle game with a little bit of horror woven in. The puzzles aren't [i]too[/i] difficult and the "horror" element isn't that scary. The game does give you everything you need to know to solve the puzzles with a little bit of thinking; The stuff you read will often tell you where to look for things. There were a couple bugs I noticed, mainly the ability to use the flashlight before you pick it up off the floor, and a couple instability instances where the map disappears. I got about $10 of entertainment out of it for the 2.5 ish hours it took to complete.

Great horror game with escape room vibes. The puzzles are clever and really rewarding. Highly recommended if you enjoy the genre.

Absolute crap game. Got softlocked while watching the monitor trying to figure out which cells to open, couldn't put the 7 tools in order until the power was restored, flashlight was usable before even finding the actual flashlight, half the puzzles didn't make sense, after I got softlocked I just watched a yootoob video playthrough and was highly disappointed. Didn't even have an actual ending. Garbage.

It’s a pretty rare treat to find a pure escape room style puzzle game in a legitimate horror setting, and Sphenoid nails it. It’s got really great puzzle design, slow-burn horror atmosphere (with occasional intense scares), and a solid prison/hospital setting. It’s not the most polished game, there’s definitely a pretty low-budget look to some of the animations and characters. But it still manages to satisfy that dark blood-soaked asylum feel. Pretty much every puzzle is well-made, zero moon logic. The only thing that got me stuck was some hard to see hot points. But otherwise it was a very smooth and engaging escape room puzzle game in my favorite kind of setting! Wish there were way more games like this.
