宝贝别怕，有我在 (2026)

With so many FMV dating sims releasing, those with lower budgets and weaker marketing power have a tough road ahead. Not fear I’m here (aka Don’t be Afraid, I’m Here / 宝贝别怕，有我在) punches above its weight thanks to good acting and character depth. But incomplete story threads and a lack of choices prevents it from being a must play. You play as Shen Tianxing, a math prodigy struggling mentally due to the death of his mother. A female psychologist, Dr. Zhou, deploys hypnotism to bring temporary peace, but suggests that finding love is the only way to overcome trauma. Dr. Zhou’s hypnotism takes players into a dark void with bright overhead lights, not unlike the succubus interactions in Soul Touch. Several hallucinations are used very effectively during a final session. Some hypnotisms feature four doors, linked to the four love interests. Each love interest has good substance via their backstory and personality. He Mengmeng is a naïve singer who gets exploited by a streaming company. Li Shirou is your old high school crush, but her husband blackmails you into acquiring a bar that is losing money. Anna is the manager of that bar, dreaming of becoming an actor. Not Fear I’m Here is a full-motion video interactive adventure that combines romance, mystery, and suspense into a cinematic experience where player choices directly influence the story. Rather than emphasizing traditional gameplay mechanics, it focuses on narrative immersion, casting players as a former campus celebrity whose peaceful routine is interrupted by an invitation to a long-awaited class reunion. What begins as an opportunity to reconnect with old acquaintances quickly develops into a tense situation filled with emotional conflicts, hidden agendas, and unexpected revelations. The game's live-action format gives it the feel of an interactive television drama, allowing players to shape the direction of the plot through a series of meaningful decisions. At the heart of the experience is a diverse group of five women, each with distinctive personalities, backgrounds, and motivations. Every character offers a unique relationship dynamic, from a compassionate childhood friend and a highly intelligent psychologist to a fearless biker, an alluring bar owner, and a mysterious woman whose secrets gradually become central to the narrative. These relationships are more than optiona…

interesting story, worth playing !

Long winded and incoherent plot. Camera work is also poor and doesn't reflect first person POV. Multiple forced early endings that seem to be a cop out for not choosing the right choices. Gave up in Chapter 3.

Once again I bought a game I don't understand at all. I'll probably never learn. Well, at least I can look at the pictures. Or learn Chinese. How hard can it be, right?
