Gameplay is decent but 2 reasons I can't recommend it: 1) Endless non skippable NPC dialogue. For instance when crafting a long list of items for some village NPC he tells you the same acknowledgements of you getting better at crafting and how you're progressing every single time for every single item.. its so annoying. The best part is the dev has been streaming the game live on YT and never, ever reads the dialogue, bro just spam clicks through so why even have it? 2) No controller support. This would probably be a great couch game since its mostly an autobattling game with a decent amount of time to grind up. But the menus aren't fun to traverse and when you have enough items you need to start filtering items via keyboard input. Also even just exploring you have to use the track pad to click the specific icon to the location you want which seems unnecessarily tedious because they're aren't that many. Whoever said it before about they feel this game was made heavily with AI is probably right. It just seems to have too much overhead and reduces the best parts of the game which is the crafting and autobattling.

Really fun game. Wuxia building in a nutshell. Adventure around, customize your build, and the autobattler has a lot of conditions which let you select what ot do. Crafting is amazing as well. Lacking a bit in the audio department but the visuals are fine (I'm aware its AI gen). Also each realm has lots of content. Really also makes you reflect back when you're stronger on how truly weak you were before. Also if your build sucks, just restart !

Play the demo first, it contains a good chunk of the game. Also, before you start, go to options and set your sexuality to Straight, otherwise your bros will randomly start hitting on you which is very queer. Before we begin, a word about supergenres. This game is primarily a Management game. Not Action, not Adventure, not Role Playing... Management. Which is a market in which most newbies and console gamers do not reside. Let's use combat as an example: Designing your build and combat stances is complex, deep, and very engaging. But it's an Auto-Battler, so the battle itself generally isn't exactly tense or exciting. So an Action gamer will not be excited, the Adventure gamer will find it too fiddly, and an RPG gamer... Will actually probably enjoy it. (Though the game's simulation, customization, and reactivity aren't really up to Role Playing standards right now.) If you enjoy build-crafting, time/resource management, strategy, and progression fantasy, then you're fishing in the right pond. First off, I think I've played enough to say, yeah, this game is good and quite fun. My only problem is, yeah, blood school can either be reworked a bit or have some way for people to figure out how to play. Damn is it difficult. Half the time I have zero idea what to do, half the time I question my own life choices. It's not a great or well balance school and for the trade off, yeah, not great. Please rebalance.
