- Webcam: Any USB webcam aimed ~3.5–4 ft high, angled 75–85° toward the floor.
- Gear: Hockey stick + puck or ball. ( Multiple colors help )
- Optional: Hockey tiles for smoother movement and more consistent tracking.

How tracking works
Color‑based detection via your webcam. Best results come from:- Good, even lighting ( avoid harsh shadows / overexposure ).
- Strong contrast between puck / ball, stick, and floor.
- Adjusting color choice if detection is weak in your room.
Key features
- Real‑time puck / ball tracking for responsive gameplay
- Skill‑focused modes to build control and speed
- Simple in‑game camera tools ( zoom, toggle camera )
- Designed for home use -- set up in minutes
Notes & tips
- Larger play zones increase difficulty; smaller zones are easier.
- If detection is inconsistent, switch to a more contrasting puck / ball color or improve lighting.

5+ hours so far - Highly recommend. TL/DR: It is fun. Tremendous value, good replayability, the skill development is real and is translating to on-ice performance. Value is better than every alternative stick handling aid I've seen. Look up the cost of any physical training aids and you're hundreds of dollars to start - digital floortop versions with sensors that light up vs stationary and now mechanical moving aids, VR. Hotdangle forces the trainee to keep their head up while using all the same equipment you use to play hockey. Games / Apps elsehwere are more than double the price with some locked behind a specific OS / ecosystem also requiring a specifc tech setup. The product works as intended and does it well, without lag. Replayability and Kid Enjoyment: With all the other hockey in our life, my kid actually asks to play this and loves to show friends. I did several rounds of semi-pro and felt my arms start to burn. My kid will happily spend 20 minutes+ at a time. Pros: Confidence boosting as well as noticeable puck handling improvement on the ice. Love that anything can be the puck. Can use a ball or puck on tiles, even on a driveway with tennis ball would work great. Lo…
Quite simple to set up. The mechanics work well and it’s an enjoyable way to practice overall.
I initially bought this game for my son but now I only wanna keep playing myself ;) Very cool game for hockey fans!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super fun and great for hockey practice! This game is awesome! It’s really helped me work on my hockey skills, and the best part is my kids are totally into it too. We’ve all been playing together and having a blast. It’s fun, easy to get into, and actually helps you improve. Definitely recommend it for anyone who loves hockey!
Nice! very cool game. I wish there was more game modes but definitely a fun one to play.
