About Wolf with Inn
TRY ON THE SKIN OF A WEREWOLF
In Wolf With Inn, your friends aren’t noble white knights wielding massive swords, but monsters, mermaids, mushroom folk, and others who often become targets for glory hunters—after all, you’re a werewolf. All of this unfolds in a cozy tavern simulator set in a world of dark fairy tales.GROW YOUR BUSINESS
Wake up and set out to explore Mystmoor, complete story-driven quests, and gather ingredients for your dishes. In the evening, run your tavern—cook, unlock new recipes, handle especially rowdy patrons, and repair the tavern after their antics—and deal with the consequences of your own actions.BECOME THE MASTER OF A DARK FOREST
In the dense thickets of Mystmoor, you will find more than just ingredients for your dishes. Befriend mushroom folk while chopping wood, take down the “good guys,” rescue monsters, and build a thousand bridges between those who have forgotten how to speak to one another. They’ll definitely call you a bridge builder. Right?EXPLORE A COZY WORLD
Catch fish, chop wood, and grind grain—all through various mini-games. Wolf With Inn is full of activities that turn routine tasks into a meditative experience. After all, isn’t that why we love cozy games? What Steam players say

Yet another werewolf game that fails to understand why people want a game where you play as a werewolf. Gameplay: 3/10 It's functional. Kind of. Gameplay consists of gathering ingredients for when you open the inn. It seems simple enough, but it boils down to 'wander around the map and gather ingredients'. Every action has a minigame attached to it. Chopping wood? Align a ring with another ring and hit the action key. Harvesting honey? Perform a memory mini game. Gathering eggs? Play Frogger At Home. The idea behind having things to do while you gather things is *fine*, I guess, but when everything becomes a federal issue to solve, it quickly grows tedious. Jarringly, at the beginning of the game, you clear some cobwebs. This doesn't require a minigame, and it never comes up again. Between that and the complete lack of customization to the interior or exterior of the inn, you're just kind of stuck with what's in front of you. Not to mention I'm on day 4 and I haven't actually gotten to play as the wolf. The only time the wolf's come out to play was at the very beginning to smash up some furniture, after which there's an upgrade in a skill tree for using it to get rid of angry cust…27 found this helpful
I really wanted to like this game. I like the storyline, the art is amazing, the animations are fun, but by god the bugs. I've had to restart my save multiple times in an attempt to actually continue one of the quests, which then blocked me from continuing the game. Specifically, the quest to serve the elf wine. I also encountered multiple bugs with the fairy character. Another very buggy part of the game was the tavern in general. It took several minuets and much button mashing to initially add dishes to the menu. There was also the occasional trouble picking up cooked dishes, which in turn angered the customers. During one such incident, I some how managed to enter a fight with an angry customer. I had managed to figure out the mini game, but the game decided to soft locked itself. Then, I had to shut down the game and lost a chunk of progress. Terribly disappointed. I, and I suspect many others, would expect a game like this to still be in early access. I sincerely hope this gets a very thorough patch. This game has so much potential, and if I were the praying type, I would pray that that potential would be realized. Thank you for your time.1 found this helpful
too many bugs and gameplay issues. The game needs some sort of hint/guide system.1 found this helpful
So I was gifted this game, and I had been interested in this game cause as someone who put in hours upon hours in stardew Valley, in fields of Misteria, I was interested in something fresh and new. And a werewolf game? NEAT. The art for the characters is so good. And I think there is genuinely something that could be happening here. HOWEVER. There are stumbles that make me not recommend this game in this current state. As in other reviews the Wolf Form isn't a huge plot, which for a werewolf game.. You gotta give the wolf in werewolf. The voice garbles was fun for... A minute but was distracting. The art should have leaned more into the pixel though I think the game is trying to be it's own thing. Fine. Playing it was... A trudge. I found myself within the first 10 minutes not interested, not wanting to continue. Which sucks. I don't want to do that. And I do think they should have done more playtesting, did more brainstorming. There is plenty to do here and I believe it can get better if there are HUGE changes with how things are done such as the resource gathering, allowing more WOLF time, like have us use the werewolf form to hunt for meat for the tavern. Allow the intro to be …1 found this helpful
During the early access demo, many players raised concerns that the minigames aren't fun. They're a mandatory-every-time slog with no reward for doing well. In the full game, the minigames are *worse*. I had goals consistently spawn right behind obstacles, making me start the minigame from scratch several times. They now take chunks out of the day. The game is buggy in a way that blocks progression. After quitting and restarting, the game still wouldn't recognize that I completed the "run the tavern for your first night" task. On the last night before I refunded the game, the first customer got stuck in the entrance and every other customer stuck behind them. The tutorial is so long, hand-holdy, and slow that I was unwilling to start over to try to get further. A more minor example is that items in my backpack would disappear, then be visible offset to the right if I entered a "wider" screen. The game booted up in a resolution something like 300 x 200, which was illegible and difficult to get to the settings to fix it. Even the highest possible resolution has the text feeling compressed.1 found this helpful
It's fun and interesting concept, but I still confused with navigate the game. Every task have their own minigames, but the control arent consistent. Do this part use WASD or arrows? Why I cant close the tutorial notes with space, using ESC button seems so much hassle while my fingers already comfy hovering on WASD buttons. Why I only able to drag and drop only on inventory? Can I go to next dialogue with mouse click? Isnt it better to make the char move with mouse click too? note: I wrote this while I havent finish the tutorial phase. I'll probably update this review
