The Scarlet Harvest

Breakdown: Graphics: 8/10 - A lot of asset flips, but the atmosphere and overall look of the game really was done well. Varied environments with well placed lighting help pull this one in. There's a few janky character movements on models, and when chain sawing you simply just gib the monsters, but overall done well enough for a indie dev. Story: 6/10 - Standard slock horror/slasher movie fare, but without the deep lore. There's moments where it feels like it's trying to build it, but then goes into let me throw the kitchen sink at you as well. There should have been more building of characters from the beginning to give me more moments when you find them later, but other than that again it's simply a decent enough excuse to run from monsters and see gore. Gameplay: 7/10 - It's a walking simulator with a bit more to it. The game has some interactivity with being able to move items, and even giving you a quasi weapon that can be used, but nothing takes it from more than find x item to proceed or avoid being touched by x monster. Really really trashy but still not worth the money

I wish developers would stop using Copyright music in their games. When people try to make content or promote the game for the developer, and then get hit with DMCA after uploading content, it just completely puts content creators in a position to never trust the developer. Do better.

i wanted to like this but it was basically unplayable lol. not good

Fantastic little campy horror. Just like with Jack Holmes, here you can expect some intentional or unintentional (?) cornball dialogue from the protagonist (this is a positive), surprisingly awesome music that'll have you stop and listen, and interesting vibrant visuals. Had some performance issues and FPS drops here and there, but otherwise an all around fun experience. If you haven't played Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets though, definitely go and do that before picking this one up.

I loved Jack Holmes : Master of Puppets and The Scarlet Harvest delivers! Great little title from @TonyDevGame once again!! Worth a play through. There were a few small bugs but nothing that stops you from completing the game.
