About Terror in the Corn
DARE TO FACE THE TERRORS LURKING IN THE CORN
You wake under a pitch-black sky with no memory of how you arrived. Corn stretches endlessly in every direction, an eerie mist creeps through the stalks, and the witch’s ominous chanting carries on the wind. Something is moving out there... and it’s hunting you.A HARVEST OF HORRORS
This isn’t just a cornfield, it’s the witch Dumitra’s domain. A rogues’ gallery of deranged minions prowl the rows, each with a presence you won’t soon forget. If you want to see daylight again, you’ll have to keep your nerve, read the signs, and outwit the things that wear grins in the dark.ESCAPE THE CURSE
Get ready to be hunted and brutally killed by a twisted cast of cursed characters. Jack, Ted, Kris Kreaper, Dollie, and the witch Dumitra will take your life over and over, only for you to endlessly resurrect — trapped in a never-ending cycle. To escape, you'll need to unravel the mystery and break free from the eternal nightmare.FEATURES

INSPIRED BY REAL FEAR
Terror in the Corn is inspired by Colorado’s premier haunted attraction at Anderson Farms in Erie, Colorado: A famous mile-long journey through the corn that leads to the accursed town of Raven's Gulch - Here reimagined as a horror game by FreakZone Games and Bit Bot Media. What Steam players say

Jack didn't want the attention 7. Jack broke my entire body with one hand 8. A little later on I found other friends. 9. They took it in turns turning my body into a fresh bouquet of meat. 10. Found a map, no clue where I am...Died again whilst looking at the map. 11/10 would get dismembered again5 found this helpful
In the first 5 minutes of the game, you move very, very, very slowly through monotonous cornfields, going from one campfire to another. If, heaven forbid, you decide to speed up, the developer has thought of everything – a running animation kicks in, along with running sound effects, but your speed barely changes. This creates a funny effect, as if you’re in a “Tom and Jerry” cartoon – running in place and inching forward. However, you won’t get to enjoy this amusing animation for long – the game features stamina that drains paradoxically quickly given the slow pace of movement. In short, artificial padding for the sake of artificial padding. Nothing interesting happens during those 5 minutes, so, considering the poor design choice, it’s a refund from me.5 found this helpful
Thanks for the update developer. I really wanted to play this for Halloween but could not as the game was too hard for causal players like me. I enjoy Halloween games like Sinister Halloween and Costume Quest and Haunted Halloween. Very little games with actual Halloween Themes out there. This experience now is playable and enjoyable with the update. Great music and atmosphere. Thanks for making this Halloween experience. Please add some better light radius for the lantern. Thanks.1 found this helpful
If you weren't born before this century the in-ability to remap your movement keys from Grandpas WASD scheme is a dealbreaker. (You can't remap any keys, and it uses the WASD movement scheme) I think if your bored, easily scared and Halloween is coming this may be a fun game for you.
Extremely awesome to see haunts represented by games. Also cool as hell seeing Distortions Unlimited's pumpkins on the scarecrows, and how all the real life costumes were represented in the monsters.
Ted is worse than the Map Bot ._.
