Players praise this incremental game for its surprisingly well-executed mechanics and polished execution, with a simple but engaging concept of controlling an arrow on a ring to prevent squares from reaching the edge. The progression system through relics and upgrades offers good build variety and strategic depth, with most players finding it a chill, enjoyable experience that rewards engagement over time. The main criticisms are that controls feel slightly awkward initially, the game is quite short (around 1-1.5 hours), and some balance quirks exist like certain relics being overpowered, thou
Get dizzy. Upgrade pointer. Get dizzy again. Buy relics. Go for more dizzy. Level up relics. Keep spinning. Try to optimize. Spin some more. Realize the only thing that matters is
the spinning barriers.... obviously
I enjoyed the music. only a few options but the game is short enough to not get old, and you can play/pause or skip tracks. the palette choices are very pleasing to my eyes. no over the top/glaring headache inducing effects or overly bright colors
really fun cute game for an evening
A nice incremental title, with a neat idea and some upgrades. Spin like your life depends on it, because it literally does here!
The word on the street is that this is Jony Ive doing a rework of Atari's Tempest. Conspiracy theorists posit this is what the CIA uses instead of Conners Continuous Performance Test. I say it is an IQ test to see how many rounds it take you to realize how to move the triangle gun around the circle. Whatever the case, by the end, I was seeing hypotrochoids. You have been warned.
Neat little incremental game, plenty there for the price, I'd say, but I wouldn't want to spend more than that on it. You can completely break the game by getting enough of one type of "relic." Fun stuff.
This one actually surprised me a little with how much I ultimately enjoyed it. I came into it with rather low expectations, and it was a pleasant surprise to see a very well executed RNG mechanic in an incremental game, which drastically uplifted gameplay that would have otherwise been very generously considered "mid" The gameplay is pretty simple, you control an arrow that is quite literally bound to a ring, and you have to prevent squares from ever reaching the edge of the ring. Controlling the arrow can feel a bit wonky at times, but becomes less of an issue over time as you get more powerful and the impact of missing some shots decreases. There is no skilltree to the game, with only 2 ways to get stronger, one being a basic on rails level up system that offers slow but steady progress, and the other being an RNG relic gacha that gives you random extra abilities or stats that you can equip. It is certainly risky to design such a large part of an incremental around an RNG mechanic like that, but it is executed surprisingly well, and gives this game the life and strategy that its sister incrementals lack. The way it works is that by paying a small(ish) price, you can get a rand…
