About Infinity Sweeper

Minesweeper gone rogue!

Infinity Sweeper takes the logic-driven satisfaction of classic Minesweeper and transforms it into an endlessly replayable roguelite adventure. The familiar grid remains - flagging mines, uncovering safe tiles and reading patterns - but you will quickly discover a whole new world of dangers, rewards and strategy. Clear the board, upgrade your toolkit and face new, evolving challenges that ramp up in difficulty.Relive this nostalgic classic, now maximized.

Logic Meets Chaos

The rules of the game are simple. Uncover number tiles, avoid the mines and clear the board. As the grid grows, so do the challenges. Procedurally generated boards grow larger and deadlier with unique modifiers shifting the dynamics of gameplay. Boss battles every four stages will turn the usual gameplay into high stakes strategy.

Build Your Toolkit

Earn gold as you clear each board and visit the shops to purchase upgrades. Tile upgrades introduce new elements to the grid. Permanent upgrades provide lasting advantages. Single-use cards add consumable effects that can save you in an emergency and turn the tide of the battle. Each boss you defeat will add traps to the pool - new hazards that increase complexity and require you to sharpen your pattern recognition and reshape your approach. Will you let logic or instinct win as the seconds count down?

Mastery Through Progression

Each run opens up a world of new possibilities. Watch patterns emerge as you build up an arsenal of upgrades. Track your performance through detailed stats and feel the skill ceiling rise. Easy to learn, satisfying to experiment with and difficult to master completely.

Key Features

  • Procedurally Generated Grids - Every board is unique and demands a new way of thinking.
  • Endless Roguelite Progression - Unlock upgrades after each run, discover tile modifiers and build your loadout.
  • Upgrade Systems -  Tile modifiers that change what appears on the board, permanent upgrades that shift gameplay dynamics and single-use cards for clutch moments.
  • Boss Encounters -  Timed challenges to test your speed, precision and nerve under pressure.
  • Endless Replayability - No two runs are identical. Every turn provides an opportunity to learn from your failures and improve.
Infinity Sweeper delivers the satisfaction of logical deduction and the thrill of adaptation. For fans of classic puzzles and modern roguelites alike.

✦ AI summary

Players are divided on whether this Minesweeper-based game successfully evolves the formula or simply adds cosmetic elements on top of familiar mechanics. Supporters praise its addictive, satisfying gameplay and flexibility for both short and long play sessions, especially for those new to the genre, while detractors feel it lacks sufficient roguelike depth and innovation to justify its price point, leaving them unconvinced the core experience is more engaging than the original game.

I got this game for half off, and I still didn't enjoy it for the price. It's hard to describe the issues with this game, but I think it boils down to the on-boarding/FTUE. You start by playing a simple game of Minesweeper but are soon bombarded by so many pick-one-of-three choices that seem meaningless. I hadn't experienced enough of the game yet to understand or properly evaluate the choices. It's like the game gets in its own way instead of letting you play Minesweeper first for a bit before dumping all of the roguelite elements onto you. I spent more time evaluting and clicking on roguelite cards/bells/whistles instead of playing Minesweeper

honestly kind of a letdown got it in a bundle and it feels like its got potential but in its current state it feels kinda bland and boring hope they do something to make this more interesting would love to give it another try

Lacking. Poor design decisions (Locking tiles? Really?), poor visibility on what is happening and why, no chording (right click on number to mark tile). Unless they update it and add a lot, not even close to worth. Maybe worth like, 1$ rn. I recommend DemonCrawl instead by a long shot, despite not recommending that game in general. Alas, the minesweeper roguelike dream has yet to be realized.

Dislike how much the gameplay relies on guessing

https://youtu.be/S9Mx62x5gVM Despite adding a lot of bits, bobs, trinkets, cards, tiles, etc... none of the extra elements make the element of sweeping mines play meaningfully different.
