Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Episode 1

I thought Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Episode 1 was going to be just another simple pixel-art point-and-click adventure. I was wrong. At first, it looks like a small, goofy space adventure about a lazy engineer, a robot, and a spaceship that refuses to cooperate. But the more you play, the more charming the whole thing becomes. The pixel graphics have a lot of personality, and the spaceship feels surprisingly alive. Exploring the different rooms, clicking on everything, and figuring out what the game wants you to do is exactly the kind of old-school adventure gameplay I was hoping for. The puzzles are probably my favorite part. They actually make you think instead of just throwing random items together until something works. And when you finally figure one out, you get that satisfying feeling of, "Oh... I'm an idiot. Of course that's how you do it." Odysseus himself is also a great protagonist. He's lazy, sarcastic, obsessed with coffee and cookies, and somehow still manages to be extremely likeable. Barton, the robot, adds even more personality and makes the lonely spaceship feel a little less lonely. There is also something strangely atmospheric about b…
