The original copies of Luxor notoriously have issues playing on modern operating systems, the HD versions don't suffer from these issues and are essentially the exact same game, minus some obvious visual/display improvements As for gameplay, it's the original Luxor, if you've played Zuma then you'll know the gameplay, match 3 and watch the trail of balls get pushed back if there's a gap between two matching colors. Get some power ups, have fun. Main thing for me is the sound design of the balls launching, exploding and rolling back, burned into my mind from childhood and given new life in this HD rerelease.

This is a quick, fast, boredom killer. Its fun while playing and its easy to put down when you have to.

What I love about the Luxor HD game is that its visuals are crisper, and the game should be 100% compatible with the Steam Deck. Its fully functional on my Steam Deck. I suggest altering the controls so that you use at least one if not both track pads as a left click mouse. The joystick is too fast for moving the marble shooter part around. Also, this game brought back memories from my childhood. Very nostalgic!
