About The Jackbox Survey Scramble

✦ AI summary

The Jackbox Survey Scramble is a collection of party games where you guess and rank hilarious one-word survey answers from real people across the globe, with six different game modes that keep evolving as player submissions constantly refresh the answer pools. What sets it apart is that every answer your friends submit gets added to the database, making each playthrough unique and endlessly replayable across up to 10 players and 10,000 audience members.

Discover how people across the country think! The Jackbox Survey Scramble is a collection of hilarious survey-based games, using real one-word answers from real people. Really!

Welcome to a new era of party games!
Jackbox has made an all-new party experience! Taking real surveys from real people around the globe, The Jackbox Survey Scramble is constantly changing based on answers submitted from players, including you! Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and enemies to see how they think when it comes to questions like, “In one word, what’s the cutest nickname for butts?” or “In one word, what’s the best sandwich topping?”

Play with your phone or tablet - no special controller required. All game modes supports 2 to 10 players and 10,000 audience members.

All Jackbox Survey Scramble games can be played in English, French, Italian, German, Castilian or Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. And we'll be making sure we have localized answers for the UK and Australia, as well. Crikey!

Multiple New Game Modes
Hilo: Can you guess the most popular one-word cat names? How about the least? In Hilo, compete to find the most and least popular answers to a wide variety of questions. The rankings may surprise you! It turns out a lot of people named their cat Frank. That's a freebie.
Speed: In the fast-paced Speed, think on your toes to uncover as many answers on the list as possible, as quickly as possible. It’s everyone for themselves in a race against the clock! Each round the points increase, and the stakes get a little higher! Can you handle it?

Squares: Two teams compete to claim three squares in a row on the grid. Guess popular choices for the first squares, semi-popular choices for the middle squares, and least popular choices for the final squares. We guarantee, you've never had a more heated argument over attractive fictional characters than you will playing Squares.

Bounce: In Bounce, two teams control a paddle that sits on a scale between most popular-to-least popular answers. Work with your team to guess an answer that puts your paddle in the right place to intercept a bouncing ball and stop your opponents from scoring a goal! But be careful! The ball gets faster with each answer!
Dash: The race is on! You’re competing against your fellow players: find the most popular answer in a group of options taken from one of our enormous lists to move ahead. Double down on your choice for more progress (or more punishment), send extra choices to your opponent’s list to slow them down, and tune into public opinion to outpace everyone on your way to the finish line.
Dares: Decide the stakes for fellow players! You control whether a fellow player must guess something higher or lower on the list than what’s just been revealed. Throw them a nearly impossible challenge… but don’t be shocked when they nail it and rake in the points. After you’ve completed a dare, turn around, share the love and dare another player.

✦ AI summary

The Jackbox Survey Scramble is a cheaper Jackbox alternative with hit-or-miss minigames, where standouts like Squares work well but others like Speed fall flat, and the three-player minimum prevents enjoying some games in smaller groups. Players appreciate it as a local multiplayer option and praise its value compared to full party packs, though some find the trivia-focused, minimalist presentation less entertaining than typical Jackbox comedy-heavy offerings. It's recommended primarily for those looking for a budget option, ideally on sale.

An incredible game for local play or for live streaming. I'm a big fan of everything that Jackbox Games has done, and I believe this is their pinnacle product.

Good game, mostly just because it's cheaper than a standard Jackbox Party Pack. Most games range from terrible (Speed) to fine (Hi Lo), but Squares (A Tic Tac Toe variant) absolutely slaps. One issue is that almost all (maybe all) would absolutely work 1v1, but for some reason you can only play with a minimum of 3 players. Squares would be perfect to just use 2 devices and play 1v1 or in teams, but for some reason you can't. Overall, it's an easy recommend, especially if you can catch it on sale.

Hands down my favorite game from Jackbox Games and I didn't even know about it until I was just browsing their developer's page. Very fun to play with just as a duo and a lot more social than the other games, it starts conversations and can be very funny. Highly recommend!

It's a neat game. I enjoy it personally, but there's a few issues: - Starting the game and closing out lags greatly on poor laptops (such as mine). - People who like Jackbox usually likes presentation or comedy-focused experiences. This Jackbox only includes trivia games, having them slightly edited in a way that combines minimalistic gameplay with survey answer guessing. It's a cool concept, and it was executed as well as they could execute it, but it's just not the mainstream appeal of Jackbox and it was underwhelming for most of the people I played with. Not recommended.
