Winter Survival

Honestly, i love survival games and the story line was pretty cool. This in my opinion was challenging until i learn the mechanics. I only wish the settings were more challenging. Example: heavy snow, more random attacks by wolfs, more packs, more diseases. But i love the game. Yes the game has some issues like many other games, but its playable and you can spend several hours how to survive in the wild. It really reminds me of Hell's survival but in a winter setting. There are some bugs unfortunately, and i did have to load my games from previous saves simply because a bug would cause the plot to be stuck. Regardless i still had such a good time. I spent many nights staying up late. Is it perfect, no way, but its pretty good. For those haters, all i can say we all have different points of views. No video game is ever 100% perfect. If you can catch this on sale. you will at least spend a few days having fun and learning to do things.

Start survival game, get placed in a ravine surrounded by mountain walls everywhere, only way forward utterly swarmed by wolves. Tried story mode instead. Feels like it has little to no direction, random quests way too big area way too much loot you have no idea what to do with. Just such a confusing chaotic mess. Barely understandable how to craft, what to craft, how to hunt, fight, kill, loot, scavenge, etc. Needs dramatic streamlining and overhaul as is, otherwise just not fun to play.

Has the potential to be good, but just has too many bugs and QoL issues. Unplayable.

I really wanted to like this one. I had been looking forward to it for a while, and the premise is exactly the kind of gameplay loop I usually enjoy. Unfortunately, I barely got to play it. The game crashed multiple times before I could properly start, then crashed again around the tutorial. I restarted it several times, tried to push through, and eventually had to give up. There might be a good experience here, and if the crashing issues get fixed, I would genuinely like to revisit it.

I haven't played for long at all but what i've played so far this is awesome =D It's brutal but teaches ya things =) Takes patience and willpower to power through. As should be the case with a survival game.

As an middle aged family guys with 0 survival skills, I am not a fan of those games, but this one is actually enjoyable. Video: https://youtu.be/y24MgASXDUo
