An atrocious game that I remember having played, even though many years have passed. I remember not liking it.

Star Vikings Forever is an imaginative blend of turn-based strategy, puzzle solving, and light RPG progression that manages to turn a deliberately ridiculous premise into a surprisingly thoughtful tactical experience. Developed by Rogue Snail and published by Akupara Games, it sends a crew of spacefaring Vikings into battle against an army of intergalactic snails. That setup immediately establishes the game's playful personality, but underneath the cartoon humor is a clever combat system built around positioning, teamwork, and exploiting enemy behavior. The most distinctive element is its chain-reaction combat. Players position their Vikings and attack enemies across compact puzzle-like battlefields, but defeating opponents through raw damage is rarely the most interesting solution. When attacked, enemies can retaliate in ways that cause them to strike other enemies, allowing a carefully planned action to trigger a sequence of attacks across the board. Setting up one move that causes several opponents to effectively destroy one another is extremely satisfying. I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety.
