Generic short horror game. It contains quite a lot of AI images, also it does a horrible job of telling the player what he is supposed to do, especially at the beginning.

If you enjoy generic jump-scare horror, then you'll still be disappointed by this. While it looks visually impressive thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the in-game assets are either pre-made, or AI generated. The puzzles are somewhat tedious and unrelated to the narrative/themes, and because the player can't die, any sense of fear rapidly vanishes. You can't save your progress, but thankfully it's a pretty short experience - which I'm grateful for. The devs correctly describe the game as a "walking simulator" - no chase sequences or stealth sections, just wandering around. This feels like the kind of game that wanted to be in one of Markiplier's "3 Scary Games" videos, but released 10 years too late. PS Do not play if you are epileptic, there are many flashing/strobing lights.

Rather than presenting players with an elaborate mythology or sprawling narrative, the game confines its terror to a single location and a deeply unsettling situation. Unfortunately, I can't recommend 10:59. The walking speed is painfully slow, the jumpscares are obnoxious, and the overall experience just wasn't enjoyable. The game was so rough that I had to heavily edit my video just to make it look entertaining. 💀 There are plenty of great indie horror games out there—this just isn't one of them. This is a very short, horror game that is easy to complete and lasts around 30-50 minutes depending on how long you take looking around. I am fond of these short horror games. Nice to just sit back on the couch and enjoy a short horror ride. Like going on a ghost train or something. Recommended if you are the same, not if you want or expect a longer, deeper experience. A couple of pounds/dollars on sale is a fair price, I think. Absolutely loved the Art on the walls, and a note to dev that it would be great if we can have a Gallery after completing the game just to look at the Art. I'm a big fan of dark, horror Art.
