2 Planets Fire and Ice is a fast-paced match-three puzzle game developed by rokaplay and published by familyplay and Markt+Technik that successfully builds upon a familiar formula through a clever dual-world concept and a substantial amount of content. While the core mechanics remain recognizable to anyone who has spent time with match-three games, the title distinguishes itself by offering two distinctly different gameplay styles, a large collection of stages, and a steady stream of varied objectives that keep the experience engaging from beginning to end. The game's central theme revolves around two opposing worlds that shape how players approach its challenges. The Ice Planet offers a calmer and more methodical experience, allowing players to analyze the board and make decisions at their own pace. In contrast, the Fire Planet introduces a much more intense style of play where every second matters. This split between relaxed and time-sensitive gameplay is one of the game's most effective features because it caters to different moods and playstyles. Players can enjoy thoughtful puzzle-solving sessions when they want a more relaxed experience, or switch to the Fire Planet when the…1 found this helpful
Recieved this in a bundle. Played to completion. Definitely wouldn't pay more than a dollar for this. This feels like a very old and generic match 3 game, and honestly there are better games out there with these dynamics.1 found this helpful
A gem-matching game, match up three more gems to get points and power-ups, a lot of power-ups and even some things that make matching your gems harder like making them all dull and hard to see. https://youtu.be/w-f5snWO8qA1 found this helpful
There are a couple of issues with this game. Firstly, it is nigh impossible to change the graphics (resolution). While the option to do so exist, attempting to do so crashes your game. So you are basically stuck with playing this game at 1024x768 fullscreen, which plainly means you can't get HD graphics and you get ugly black pillars at the side. Secondly, the puzzles itself. While most of the puzzles can be completed within the given time, some are just plain frustrating. For example, there is a game type that require you to clear a number of gems of one color to clear the stage. The problem is, the target gems do not "respawn" as you match gems and clear them, so you'll need to strategically clear them so they don't end up in unmatchable situations, all while the time is ticking. This would be fine if the level layout and gem placement are fixed. Unfortunately, it isn't. So if you get bad RNG and roll a bad board to start with, chances are you'll have to restart the level until you get a finishable tileset. You can't exactly try a different way to clear the gems since the levels are randomly generated, which is why it is frustrating. Don't even get me started on the gametype th…1 found this helpful
Classic Match-3 game, that pretends to be interesting. In fact, it's really boring and mission challenges don't really help it. Game, where you are reliant on random aspect, you need to have some directed intervention, such as higher spawn rate of some colors or bombs. But nothing of this you get here. After some time, game becomes to be repetetive and it's just pain to play. You get two playmodes, casual and time-limited. But both contain same missions. Theme about ice and fire means nothing. It's just background. Also music is terrible, just only one track that repeats all the time. Some people might like it though. But not me.
This the type of ♥♥♥♥ you'd catch grandma playing
