[h1]Pros:[/h1] [b]1.[/b] The story is light, but it does provide wholesome and funny moments with Yotsuba's P.A.S.S., Masuko. It is a fine contrast compared to [i]2236 A.D.[/i]s dramatic and heartbreaking story. [b]2.[/b] The characters are all the same as I remember, but this story does focus more on Yotsuba, Masuko, and slightly Hime's P.A.S…

Maybe VN's aren't for me, but after about 5 minutes of reading It got boring quickly. Story was all over the place so I just used an auto clicker to finish off the game. And no it's not the reading part that was boring I read light novels and books pretty consistently the story mixed with the audio and art was bad. I'm 0/3 when it comes to light novel's atm. I guess I would say fans of 2236 should be the ones to get enjoyment out of this. Someone elses comment on here pretty much sums up the issue with the vn.

For a visual novel with a story, characters and plenty of obvious milestones, 2236 A.D. Secretary Stories has surprisingly little Steam integration. There are no Steam achievements or Trading Cards, despite opportunities such as completing the story, seeing the major events and reaching the ending. The bigger problem is that the story itself is extremely light, with this feeling more like a short spin-off for fans of 2236 A.D. than a substantial standalone visual novel. It's free and Masuko is certainly cute, but there isn't much here beyond a brief story for existing fans.

prequel in name, but best read after completing main story if 2236 A.D Secretary Stories is a slog to read, then first half of 2236 A.D won't fare much better 2236 A.D is worth it simply for the ideas it presents even with it's flaws in short, if the ending to Secretary Stories was up your alley, then 2236 A.D is for you.

Short and sweet Visual Novel, as it's practically just a prequel to the main game. Leaves you with a nice happy feeling after completing it.
