Completed 3 Minutes to Midnight last year, spent around 20 hours, and I enjoyed it. A fun and humorous point-and-click with a light tone that works well throughout. The puzzles are varied and kept me engaged, and the overall flow makes it easy to keep playing. The story is strong, with good humor and engaging characters that kept me interested all the way through, even with a relatively long playtime for the genre. It never felt like it dragged. What stood out to me is how much personality it has. The humor lands well without feeling forced, and it feels like a game that knows exactly what it wants to be. I’ll likely play it again to explore other choices and pick up the achievements I missed. Recommended for fans of point-and-click games.

If you grew up on Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle, this is the high-definition love letter you’ve been waiting for. It captures that classic "Golden Era" spirit while actually fixing the frustrations of the 90s. The Breakdown Pros: Visual Masterclass: Stunning hand-painted art that looks like a high-budget 1940s cartoon. Smart Puzzle Design: Say goodbye to "moon logic." The puzzles are logical and—amazingly—often have multiple solutions depending on how you play. Massive Script: Every single item interaction has unique, witty dialogue. It’s packed with 4th-wall breaks and genre-savvy humor. Protagonist Dynamic: Swapping between two polar-opposite characters in a doomsday conspiracy keeps the pacing tight. Branching Paths: Genuine replayability, which is a rarity for this genre. Cons (Not Really Cons): Length: It’s a long journey (15+ hours), so it requires a bit of a time commitment. Inventory Management: Like any classic adventure, your pockets will get very full of bizarre items. The Verdict It’s rare to find an adventure game with this much "soul" and polish. It doesn't hold your hand, but it also won't leave you stuck for hours on a nonsensi…

3 Minutes to Midnight is one of the most whimsical and zany games I've ever played. I enjoyed it more than almost any other game I've played in recent years! I just finished my first playthrough and discovered that the game has four additional endings besides the one I got. I'm already heading into my second playthrough. What really baffles me is that some people gave this game negative reviews. Even worse, some of the complaints were that the game is too long and has too much dialogue. Can you imagine? People are actually complaining that a game offers many hours of content, multiple endings, and one of the best-written, most story-rich, and atmospheric adventures I've experienced in a long time. I guess people like that should stick to competitive FPS games or titles you can finish in three or four hours. My only complaint is that a few of the puzzles were a bit bizarre, although none of them were overly complicated. That said, one small mistake can cost you the ending you're aiming for. Other than that, the game is absolutely flawless, and I love it so much!

This is what happens when there is no good editor around. Technically the game has it all: Interesting setting, good, graphics, good voice acting. But nothing it edited, cut down, sharpened or anything along that. Everything is stretched out as far as possible, everything is included and it hurts the pacing and the fun of the game. I would have loved this to be half of the play time in favour of more dialogue quality. As it stands I cant see recommending it.
