Needs to go some more distance before it can validate you spending money on it
Pros -Visuals -Easy, thus would be great for newcomers to the genre Cons -Lacklustre options menu -Complete hiatus of a ‘Quit’ button -Sprite and hitbox inconsistencies -Easy, thus rookies of the genre won’t find it as interesting At the beginning of my journey with A Pretty Odd Bunny I thought it’ll be a casual platformer. Later on, I thought okay, it’s too easy for that even, maybe this is an entry level platformer, maybe even for kids. Well the gore bars it off the latter and I also wouldn’t recommend it for beginners as an entry, lest the unpolished, annoying experience would likely just keep them far away from the genre forever. If at one point the hitbox issues get ironed and a somewhat more straightforward approach to communication is put in place, this can end up being a newcomer friendly title, but until that point just the cute visuals alone definitely won’t warrant a recommendation other than avoid this one. A Pretty Odd Bunny is a stealth-focused platformer developed by AJ Ordaz Games and published by 2Awesome Studio that stands out for its unusual concept and clever twist on traditional side-scrolling gameplay. At first glance, the game appears to be a colorful and charming platform adventure populated by cute rabbits and bright environments. However, beneath its playful presentation lies a mischievous and slightly dark comedic premise: the main character is a rabbit with a secret craving for pigs. Because the other rabbits strongly disapprove of this carnivorous habit, the player must guide the protagonist through each level without letting anyone discover the true goal. This unusual narrative setup transforms what might otherwise be a standard platformer into a stealth puzzle experience driven by careful observation and timing. The story itself is intentionally simple, serving primarily as the context for the game’s unique gameplay mechanics. The red-eyed rabbit protagonist lives among a community of ordinary rabbits who follow a strictly herbivorous lifestyle. Unfortunately, this particular bunny has developed a taste for pigs, which means pursuing its meal must be done in secret…1 found this helpful
