Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort 2D platformers, and "Rambunny" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 17,000 platformers on Steam, almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. Well, this is a painfully generic pixelcrap precision platformer where it's all about timing and positioning to avoid the spikes and obstacles and get to the end of the level. It's very barebones, Super Mario Bros from the 1980's has more gameplay depth than this. Also there's Darth Vader in it so we can hope Disney sues. You can't just rip off copyrighted works for profit. That's actually why copyright law exists. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. Hi all o7 Quite a challenging little platformer! The way the character runs makes me laugh and kinda reminds me of Richard from The Amazing World of Gumball. If you like retro platformers, give it a go! I rage quitted... LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE! o7

Yeah, its free but the levels are too long and the checkpoints too far apart. When those spikes started popping out of the ground out of nowhere and I had surprise death after surprise death I had had enough.

Игра Rambunny оказалась приятным сюрпризом. Простое управление, основанное на прыжках и рывках, быстро осваивается, но для достижения мастерства потребуется практика. Визуальный стиль – яркий и мультяшный, создает позитивное настроение. Уровни достаточно разнообразны, чтобы держать в напряжении, но не разочаровывают своей сложностью. Особенно понравилось креативное использование навыков кролика, например, рывок, позволяющий преодолевать препятствия и собирать морковки. Геймплей динамичный и увлекательный, идеально подходит для коротких игровых сессий. Собирание морковок добавляет элемент коллекционирования и награждает игроков за исследование уровней. Музыкальное сопровождение ненавязчиво и добавляет атмосферы. Хотя игра и не предлагает революционных идей, она отлично справляется со своей задачей – развлечь. Rambunny – это качественный платформер, который придется по вкусу любителям жанра, особенно тем, кто ищет что-то простое, веселое и с симпатичным главным героем. Определенно рекомендую попробовать!
