Adventure Slime

Finished in 8 minutes and could have done around 6. I wasted 2 minutes of my life trying to figure out if there was any easter egg or whatever around. Kudos to designer team. Narrator's voice whether AI or not, character design and environment design was pretty. Music was calm and decent. That is all. Gameplay, physics and controls are beyond horrible. They literally pre-defined a projectile path for you to jump so if I had a toothpick stuck on my WASD it could eventually finish the game. I don't even see the purpose of assigning spacebar to a function of jumping if W does the job. This thing literally screams "We are super lazy and we have a deadline to finish and even though they gave us the entire semestre if not the year but we decided to sleep on it until 48 hours left". I played a lot of amazing student projects with passions in it, such as Atan, finished in a similar period of time. This thing has no soul, no passion no nothing. Clearly they had to finish a a term project and this is pretty much all that. Don't waste your time like I did. A super short game but cute and it plays pretty smoothly

I spontaneously played alongside my partner for this game which coincidentally has a large focus on audio elements, something that we both studied when we met. My quest was rather smooth, although there was a strange quirk of input handling while pressed up against a wall; I know the feeling, slime. The game is effectively a binary structure of the Land mood; you have knowledge of a special location, and you move throughout to discover that place and others. A building trend with collectibles in DigiGames seems to be that only one or two evades my grasp during a casual playthrough, which feels like more of a splinter than a hook. One thing that will always transcend quality to the wise appreciator of the arts is the sublimation of inspiration carrying on to my own enjoyment of those inspiring works; put simply, I still haven't played The Stanley Parable and I feel like now's the time to do so. Adventure Slime gets a B for Buoyantly Narrated Expedition.

Небольшой минус - иногда чувствуется однообразие в дизайне врагов. Хотелось бы увидеть больше оригинальных противников. В целом, "Adventure Slime" - отличная игра для тех, кто ищет ненавязчивое, но затягивающее развлечение на несколько часов. Рекомендую!

This is a fun little collect-a-thon... and its free! The slime is very slow moving (to a fault), but its a short game so its never that problematic.

It's short and sweet. Pretty good.
