After Wave: Downfall is an arcade shooter where the player battles against monsters, completes various missions with a cool battleship. Deathrix invaded the world and released a mysterious meteorite causing a great flood. Players can upgrade their ships for better performance to fight the most brutal enemies. A Local Co-op mode allows the player to team up and adventure with others.

[h1]Decent 3D Shmup from a small indie team[/h1] Pretty good 3D shmup from a small team of developers from Thailand. It reminds me of a game I would find on the Nintendo Wii, like WiiWare, and I don't mean that in a disrespectful manner. It's full of color, low-poly graphics and gameplay that does most of the talking. Decent soundtrack, too. It's pretty fun, but also quite tough. Control is tight and precise, Lots of weapons and abilities at your disposal and you're expected to make the most of them later on in the game's later stages. Starting with Normal difficulty, you'll have to replay some of the stages to acquire more currency to get decent upgrades before retrying them. Don't do what I did and head straight to Arcade mode, go to Story mode to get a good idea with the game. I ran into a few bugs during my play sessions. After I defeated a miniboss during the fourth stage on Normal, the game softlocked and froze. Killed my motivation to play again. Maybe I will revisit this game sometime again. Would recommend to pick up during a sale, especially if shmups are not one of your preferred genres of games. Still, I would recommend it. It may be difficulty, but it's eng…1 found this helpful
