Agent Intercept is a fun arcade racing game with stylish spy-movie theming and satisfying gunplay that appeals to players looking for casual, straightforward action. However, the game suffers from repetitive, on-rails gameplay with minimal mechanics and progression systems, making its already short 2-3 hour campaign feel even thinner and the experience boring for those seeking depth or challenge.
Mobile game ported to PC. Game is ok but not great. Completed under 3h. The gameplay basic and the more you play, the more you see the flaws. I cannot recommend this or on a heavy discount.2 found this helpful
Awesome game! Fairly straightforward overall but there in lies its beauty. It is a pure arcade game through and through. Everything is on rails and you only have two buttons at any point. Boost / Drift and Action essentially. Everything you pick up or encounter will be accomplished with one of these two commands along with your direction of travel. It really almost feels like a modern homage to Road Avenger but with some on rail driving thrown in the mix. Obviously it is not quite as good but it scratches a similar itch!1 found this helpful
Maximum excitement! I really enjoyed this story, you know you are going to win and that it's impossible for one "agent" to take down hundreds of bad guys, a battle helicopter, an underground secret base, and a laser beam from space, but it's so freaking awesome. I think it is a great addition to anyone's library. The controls are incredibly easy, only go and shoot, also responsive and snappy. Sound effects and background music are amazing. The machine guns kept me laughing. I finished the main story on extra easy, more boost, health, and ammo. There are three challenges for each level if you want, I only did enough to unlock the next level. A weird thing is... there is a separate set of side missions that take place, plot wise, after chapter 1 but before chapter 2. No idea why. Anyway I wish my life was as exciting as this game. One can only dream.1 found this helpful
The game isn't perfect, but it's fun. One thing that almost ruined the game for me is constant Yelling of HQ Agent (Jen), and it gets really annoying after a while. It was frustrating enough that I ended up skipping the story dialogue multiple times.
gameplay and voice acting, art style were great. but it is very painful with keyboard. I strongly recommend gamepad or handheld pc to play it properly.
- Feels like a perfect mash-up of Split/Second and Horizon Chase Turbo. - Over-the-top, classic spy-movie atmosphere. - Excellent pick-up-and-play experience for Steam Deck. Verdict: It’s a shorter game, so I’d recommend waiting for a sale to get the best value, but it is an absolute blast for busy gamers looking for a quick, high-energy session.
