Mindless, simple, boring. I think this might be a phone game that was simply put on PC? It is just a huge cheap waste of time.

Breakneck is a futuristic high-speed racer that somehow starts off… slow. Not because the game lacks speed (you’re flying), but because it takes a while to really hook you. Once it does, though, it becomes oddly addictive, until the repetition kicks in and reminds you to take a break. This is definitely a “20 minutes a day” kind of game. Play a bit, enjoy the speed, grind a little, and then step away before it starts feeling like a chore. How long you stick with it really depends on your tolerance for repetition and grinding. The daily, procedurally generated tracks sound great in theory, but in practice they start to blur together after a while. Still, there’s fun to be had… in small, controlled doses. Final verdict: addictive in short bursts, repetitive in long ones. I would give it a 6/10 (could be better, but it can be a good purchase on sale)

I wish I could give this a neutral. This isn't a bad game. The graphics are ok, the controls are functional, some thought was given to the zone designs. It is a good way to pass the time while waiting to leave for your next doctor's appointment or whatever. It's just dated. Like people, the game got old. At this point there are other games in the same price bracket that are more memorable, have more content, and look nicer. I repeat, it's not really a bad game, but there just isn't anything memorable enough about it that would make me tell a friend "Hey, you should go look this up on Steam."
