THE WORLD OF ALTAIR
Set on the floating island of Vastus Isle, this place was once used as a magic workshop. The place is now in ruins and exploited to run experiments with AI. Take on battles to push back the army of LAWS (Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems) that are roaming around and help Stella, the humanoid AI left in charge of ALTAIR, to maintain peace on Vastus Isle.

Move from map to map while enjoying the feeling of transcendent sword fighting.
Take advantage of your surroundings by climbing and gliding to easily take on enemies. Experience a wide range of attacks only possible in the VR world, such as Shockwaves and Surge Mode.
USER-FRIENDLY UI
A simplified and intuitive UI was developed to increase the sense of VR and not interrupt the game flow. The Tablet will be your main hub to change equipment, check your characters status and more.

Team up with other 3 players from all around the world and take on enemies with your friends. The game supports crossplay between Quest 2 and PCVR and features a native voice chat system.

Altair Breaker is playable solo, but also in co-op and is available for up to four players, so you can hack away in a group against mechanical enemies with the many cool swords that you can win and upgrade! I really like this dev team but they discontinued SOG for this!!! I was kinda hyped to play this when it was announced because of third verse was making it but all there is are old SOG sword models and three rooms to fight in along with 4 enemies to fight....... this feels like a Pre-Alpha stage game content wise. I feel like im just swinging my sword mindlessly and doing damage with whatever part of the blade. Unlike SOG i had to hold my sword's blade at the enemy to do damage with the blade, but this game kinda failed to learn that concept. Anyways its to late for me to refund it so i guess ill just pray they dont shut off this one too and stick along for the ride. I still have faith that this game might be fun in a year or 2 from now and if it does become more interesting ill submit a new review but as of now this is kinda sad coming from third-verse.10 found this helpful

this game is really cool the only thing I would change is they should make the enemys less ragdoll like when they die, thats all tho.
Games been abandoned. Don't bother.
