Ambidangerous is a game about ambidexterity (using both left and right hands), so enemies and weapons are designed with two-handed play in mind. However, you can opt to play in Amputee Mode, which lets you progress through the game with just one hand. Perfect if you're missing a hand, sipping a beer, or holding a baby.

IMPORTANT: This game uses a special control scheme that requires an Xbox-style (X-input) gamepad with two joysticks. It cannot be played with a keyboard and mouse.

If you are looking for a game to challenge your coordination this is the one for you. A very challenging game that is surprisingly addictive. Great game from this first time developer. I can't wait to see what's next!

Have found this game after "Ambidextro". Can not really call it a game overall - it's rather pet-project made for some practice. I would say - it should be free due to 45 minutes of gameplay (probably part of this time was AFK as well), but its price is more then decomratic for this experience - so probably ok. To sum up: 1. Not bad 1 hour experience. 2. Be aware - it's very-very short.

A fun game that will rewire your brain! Hats and Hand Grenades uses the simple, but infrequently used, game mechanism of moving each joystick as two independent characters. A quick tutorial at the start of the game incrementally introduces you to the mechanics while keeping your brain on its toes as you learn the ins-and-outs of game play. Ambidangerous even provides the option of adding an additional player via a shared or separate remote system. A wonderful game with a nostalgia-inducing soundtrack that takes you back to the simpler days of Tetris and Bomberman.

If you are looking for a challenge you will enjoy this game. As you maneuver through this 2D world, it feels like a puzzle trying to figure out the best methods to use two character simultaneously during certain bosses and with certain weapons. It is completely unique in that way and unlike most games I have played before. Positives: - The Bosses are difficult to beat and all require a unique offensive approach to defeat them. - Weapon selection; there are a lot of weapons to pick up that are fun to play with, that work well against certain enemies, and that match your specific play style. - Levels; A variety of different environments processed with rng. - Gameplay; unique as stated above and fun to figure out (though it isn't for the feint of hear). - Enemies; you can see a trend here, a lot of variety. Many enemies to kill in various ways. - Graphics; depending on what you like, but the 2D top down style is well thought out and works nicely with the dual character mechanics Negatives: -Although I think the game is worth what it costs, it is a short game depending on your abilities. It took me an hour, but I played it for a few minutes during the development stage and have th…

A unique game with a dope soundtrack. I enjoyed the creative obstacles, levels, and bosses. Really excited to see what this developer comes up with next.

Nice classic top-down twin-stick shooter. Classic as in very low-res pixel art. The actual twin-stick mode is hard as nails, but thankfully there is an 'amputee' mode that will offer a more approachable experience to start with - even if you do still have both hands!
