AIPD, eh? Stands for "Artificial Intelligence Police Department." Sounds like a right laugh, if you ask me. But hey, who am I to judge? It's not like I'm the next Stephen Hawking or anything. Anyway, this game is supposed to be a "twin-stick, rogue-like shoot-'em-up." Fancy words for a game where you run around in a circle, shooting at stuff. It's like a hamster on a wheel, but instead of a wheel, it's a game, and instead of a hamster, it's a bunch of muppets with controllers. The gameplay is "straightforward," they say. Translation: it's so simple, even a toddler could play it. You start in the arena, shoot some enemies, and then face a "boss." I bet that boss is about as scary as a kitten with a limp. But hold on, the game has some "variety in weapons and abilities." You can choose between a laser that overheats or a phaser that targets enemies. Ooh, how innovative! It's like a choice between a wet sponge or a dry one. And this "modules system" thing, it "adds a strategic layer." Yeah, right. It's probably just a way for the developers to make the game a bit more interesting, even if it's still not as fun as a night out with the lads. Now, the "visually impressive" part, I'l…

The game is definitely fun to an extent. If you enjoy twin stick shooters, you'll probably be able to have some fun with this. It's not super good by any means, but is worth the price, especially on sale. The achievements are decently fun to get as well, although there is one achievement for getting 1 billion score across all games and is an unnecessarily grindy achievement.

I wholeheartedly support this videogame. I have appreciated potential audience to this notice about the extreme limitations of your simulation software, and why I am only infrequently active. I will occasionally play your Asteroids-tier simulation for a span of 10 minutes, to handle the random mobs. Officially, I am requesting AIPD groups for display, and I have awesome badges that I am not "really" permitted advertisement on my profile. I love the theme of this simulation-software, which for me is a glorified version/emulation of the famous Atari videogame, yet with massively greater features and functionality. At the point of writing this review, it has been approximately 90 hours of play, per SteamPowered.com listings, with 10 minute bursts of activity. These days I drop in for 1-3 minutes to handle fine-motor control functionality, with a better interest and desire for combat-specialisation simulations. I am constantly handling "gamers-thumb" after barely any play, due to the random mobs featured in the 3D-stylised scrolling features, and I set hands after exercises in daily life, irrespective of this simulation. In my official opinion, Atari doesn't own side-scrolling genre si…
