About AMEN 11 11
In an alternate reality, the Cold War ended with an escalation of nuclear attacks. In such circumstances, we find our heroine — known from Alice Mesmerizing Episodes of Neurosis. Her struggles are far from over.In one of the post-Soviet countries, a resident of a prefabricated concrete apartment block tries to piece her identity back together and find a way out of this traumatic situation. As the world teeters on the brink of collapse, everything ceases to make sense, and what was once familiar comes to an end.For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves... For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God\\AMEN 11 11 is a hidden object adventure game. The player's task is to find objects hidden on the maps. The game consists of seven maps, each with a specific number of hidden items to find before progressing. The maps are large and can be explored by moving the screen with the arrow keys or by holding down the mouse button. Zooming in and out allows for a closer look at the map's content. Players can use the hint function if they get stuck at a certain level; it shifts the view to the area where the hidden object is located. The game stands out with its hand-drawn graphics, maintained in a tone of unease and unreality. It features the atmosphere of a dystopian apocalyptic story, psychological horror, or even outright psychedelia. The graphics, combined with atmospheric music, allow the player to fully immerse themselves in this surreal experience. The game touches on themes familiar from Alice in Wonderland, but also delves more into mental instability and spirituality. AMEN 11 11 is a traditional hidden object game wrapped in an unusual package. The art and sound are quite surreal and the experience leans towards the macabre. You find yourself in a girl's bedroom with a series of highlighted objects that become active, over time. Clicking on each opens a picture that contains hidden moths which you then click to clear. There are 7 screens that each have dozens of insects to find. Some moths are in plain sight and others are revealed by moving your cursor across active areas in the pictures. Completing each area earns you a steam achievement and additional achievements continue to stack up as you click on moths. The interface provides a zoom feature and a hint option. Each screen has an achievement for not using hints so those seeking 100% may want to avoid this feature. The game took me just over an hour to finish and it has little to offer other than a pixel hunt in an interesting landscape. Each screen has a different piece of synthesized music. Some were quite relaxing and others were a bit stressful. If you are a fan of simple hidden object games or are a follower of Sons of Welder, then AMEN 11 11 may be just right for you. I love the art style. Best is the ever-changing "puzzle map". Super creepy and weird like the first game, but the soundtracks should be longer. It is not a long game, but the track ends and starts again; it is super obvious and somewhat crashes the vibe. And finally, there is stuck help! That shouldn't be used if you want 100%, which is just mean. And my pet peeve is that the game has too many easy achievements, so they are popping constantly.4 found this helpful

good game for those who want to relax for a bit and follow a story with some pretty deep symbolism. Definitely needs work and wouldn't recommend to most unless they genuinely enjoy object games, but a good game non-the-less. Things i liked: 1. the art is phenomenal. genuinely both creepy and fascinating. lots of storytelling through imagery and creates a beautiful sense of dread. 2. the music is also incredible. Even though this game can feel like a drag at times the music always helps you push through just because of how awesome it is. 3. the idea is also really cool. with a little work it could be super impactful. Things that need improvement: 1. I understand the point of the game is a hidden object game but this severly lacks variety. There needs to be something either fresh to the gameplay loop like maybe hidden rooms that you have to click on to check, maybe a timer or even just some new objects to look for. Its hard to keep a vibe with changing gameplay but its also important to change it up from time to time. 2. similar story with the menu events. I was genuinely taken aback when the first major change happened but i felt pretty underwhelmed for the rest of the game. Ther…2 found this helpful
I really recommend this game, for me it was a new way of experiencing artworks. I'd say that looking for hidden moths is just an excuse to experience the pictures in a new, unexpected way, paying attention to every detail by shining light to every, zoomed-in part of it. I also really appreciate the music, it sets the uncanny, a bit creepy vibe, but is also very calming. It's a short game, but it will be worth your time, it certainly was worth mine :) One tiny "-" is I'd say a bit too many steam acchievements - there was so may it interrupted my flow.1 found this helpful
Clever games curator review: 8/10. This is a hidden object game where you are searching not for typical items, but for small, easily missed bugs, specifically moths. It clearly runs on the same foundation as the developer’s Hidden Cat series, but trades that collection’s charm and cuteness for something much darker and more mature. Each level is a large, scrollable scene filled with unsettling or heavy imagery, including things like nuclear explosions and other ominous subject matter. Scattered throughout are roughly 40 to 80 tiny moths. Finding them usually requires zooming in and methodically scanning each section of the image. Their placement feels fair in a mechanical sense, though they are not always meaningfully tied to the scenes themselves. Still, the process forces you to examine the artwork closely, which can be rewarding in its own right. The art style can feel somewhat random, but it is often interesting to explore. It leans into a kind of postmodern abstraction, with imagery that suggests meaning without ever fully committing to one interpretation. There is a sense that something is being hinted at beneath t…1 found this helpful
