About Analog Party Sim

Do you rember parties? No, not those video calls where you drink alone in your living room, parties! Where you would stagger between rooms singing along to songs that you don't know the words to, wondering if the next person you accidentally spill your drink on could be THE ONE!

Well now you can recreate all of your favourite times from almost forgotten "Old World Parties" with the ANALOG PARTY SIM! Become the Host of the party, make sure your guests have a good time, enjoy the music and walk the line between being the right amount of drunk and drinking so much that they have their (now ex-) Partner's 83 year old Grandmother in a headlock while saying how happy they were to be invited... (That's a true story).

Play through three difficulty modes or try your hand at the Endless Mode, where you attempt to keep the party going forever!

This game started out as my submission to Ludum Dare 46, and excluding the particle effects and sound effects, was a completely solo effort. I hope you like it!

Don't party Digital, party Analog (Digitally).

Players appreciate this arcade clicker game's straightforward, accessible gameplay and polished visuals that deliver quick fun reminiscent of WarioWare-style mini-games. However, most note that it lacks meaningful long-term challenge, with skilled players maxing out all difficulty levels within minutes, making it difficult to return to after the initial hour or so of entertainment.

(I bought the game 40% off, for the price of 0,95 euro) I'm between recommending or not recommending this game atm. TL;DR You should try this out if you are on the look out for a small cheap clicker arcade-y game, that's simple to get into, not too challenging and offer around an hour of entertainment. I really like the core of it all - visuals are great, gameplay is simple but could definitely work and the idea is actually good. Music gets a bit repetitive, even tho you have to change it all the time. However.. The game lacks a real challenge. In 17 minutes I ranked 1# at the highscores on all 3 difficulty levels (easy, hard, normal). And because of how the game currently works, it's hard to think how I'd have a reason to open up the game, and challenge the highscores again. It's limited how much more you could improve your score. There is an endless mode too, which is definitely the hardest - It actually gets harder over time, but for a long time, it's mostly just about grinding. I placed 1# after a single 30 mins run in endless, without that much challenge. I really appreciate how polished the game is, and it's clear that there went some good work into this ti…

Great little indie game that is simple yet addictive. Music is well produced and reminds of the mini game found in Wario Ware. 10/10 for a great starter project!
