About ANCIENT EVIL
Ancient Evil is a tactical RPG with puzzle elements where you will have to go through three parts of ancient lands, fighting powerful guardians and solving the secrets of dungeons. During the game you will need to collect weapons, armor and potions, avoid traps and use the environment to win. Each level is a unique challenge where not only strength but also strategy is important. Enemies become stronger and the tasks become more difficult, requiring the player to make the right decisions under limited time. The game contains elements of puzzles, combat and tactics, which creates a deep and exciting gameplay.

An interesting RTS-strategy, in general, everything is not bad in the game: the soundtrack, the visual part and the gameplay, where you will sometimes have to rack your brains over the passage.19 found this helpful
Ancient Evil is an abandoned early access lightweight RPG where you move around on the squares on a small map, pick up upgrades and kill enemies by walking into them. The game is unfinished and buggy. The developers did such a hamfisted job of the game engine that it seems tied the CPU clock, so you move around at blinding speed. It seems they didn't learn about tying game ticks to the system clock rather than the CPU. Anyway, this makes the game unplayable as you move too fast to stop part way, so you just bash into walls. The developers abandoned the game and dropped it into game bundles, abusing the Steam Early Access program. They took what money they could from a game they never intended to finish.
