An interesting RTS-strategy, in general, everything is not bad in the game: the soundtrack, the visual part and the gameplay, where you will sometimes have to rack your brains over the passage.19 found this helpful
Ancient Evil is an abandoned early access lightweight RPG where you move around on the squares on a small map, pick up upgrades and kill enemies by walking into them. The game is unfinished and buggy. The developers did such a hamfisted job of the game engine that it seems tied the CPU clock, so you move around at blinding speed. It seems they didn't learn about tying game ticks to the system clock rather than the CPU. Anyway, this makes the game unplayable as you move too fast to stop part way, so you just bash into walls. The developers abandoned the game and dropped it into game bundles, abusing the Steam Early Access program. They took what money they could from a game they never intended to finish. Highly unethical stuff, avoid this one.2 found this helpful
This game is just f***ing awesome You could almost call it a turn based strategy game The only thing the devs really need to tweak a bit is the HUD, but other than that, the game design is fantastic. Its good for a few evenings to beat all the levels, though I prgressed through them way too quickly I definitely wish there were more levels 🙂
