About Annie and the Art Gallery

Annie and the Art Gallery is a short, free horror RPG that aims to capture the feel from classic RPGMaker horror games. You play as Annie, a girl who's finally got a ticket to the new art exhibit. When she gets there, however, she's dragged into a bizarre conflict that takes her through the museum's haunted basement. Help Annie solve puzzles, figure out who to trust, and find out the truth of what happened there years before.
Some random and possibly cool features:
- Unique hand-drawn art style.
- Save at any time.
- Ghost girl(s).
- Animated cutscenes.
- Traps, sudden deaths, and chase sequences.
- Multiple difficulty options.
- A non-silent protagonist in an RPGMaker horror game.
- Maybe a plot twist.

Note from the developer:
Thank you for playing my game! I am a solo developer based in the New England region, and it really means a lot that you've read this far! Annie and the Art Gallery is a love letter to classic RPGMaker horror hits such as Witch’s House and Ib. Inspiration was also drawn from more contemporary RPGMaker hits such as Oneshot and Omori.

it just feels kind of like a rip off or cheap clone of Ann...2 found this helpful
It's like Ann, but not as good as Ann. Like, literally, the inspirations from Ann are even in the name of this game itself (Annie and the Art Gallery). Some could even call this an Ann rip-off. But, just because this game isn't as good as Ann, doesn't mean it's bad. I remember having a good time with it. And I like the artstyle, with the heavy lines. P.S.: I haven't mentioned Ann enough, so here's one more mention.1 found this helpful
was one of the first games i played on steam (and of the like. rpgmaker horror game genre) and scared theshit out of me, very good game
Decent free game
Haven't finished it (near the end) bc I hate getting chased but pretty fun to play
I guess the game is worth playing, but I was disappointed that an escape room point and click game contained too many races, (which I hate). You must play a second time to get all the achievements, however, the second playthrough is done in hard mode, so the races are simply impossible for me. So I am unable to finish it.
