About Assault on the Necrospire
Assault on the Necrospire is a roguelike with an emphasis on interesting loot and character building. The Necromancer has destroyed the wizard order, leaving only you alive. You must venture through the ever changing Necrospire to bring him to justice.
Discover a wealth of loot
The Necrospire is brimming with loot, granting powerful (and sometimes unusual) effects. Mythical items await those able to reach the highest floors of the Necrospire, bestowing extraordinary abilities.
Define your build
Choose how you want to fight with an inventory system that allows you to change your build on the go.
Harness the power of magic
Equip spell tomes to modify your attacks. Slow your enemies, burn them to a crisp or even freeze them in time. Up to 5 spell tomes can be equipped at once, combining their effects together.
Up the challenge for greater rewards
Enable difficulty modifiers such as double bosses and exploding enemies, making the Necrospire far more dangerous but increasing your chances of finding rarer loot.
Equip ancient relics
Use powerful relics to summon companions to your side, teleport yourself across a room, fire deadly volleys of arrows and much, much more.
Face challenging enemies
Powerful foes await you as you climb the Necrospire. Use your equipment, spells and relics to even the odds.
A new experience each time
Each journey into the Necrospire is randomly generated; no two runs will be the same.

Good game that needs extra thought on levels and enemies. Nevertheless, nice job!12 found this helpful

"Assault on the Necrospire" is a badly made, contentless, pointless 2D top down brawler with "roguelike" dungeon bashes as the primary theme. There's a welcome set of upgrades that you won't be bothered earning because the combat is bland, and the endless procgen is repetitive to death after 5 minutes. This was a huge flop on Steam... to the point that the game itself isn't as interesting as the eye watering price the developer really thought people would give him for this garbage. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried…
Игра 'Assault on the Necrospire' – добротно сделанный tower defense, который радует своей ностальгической пиксельной графикой и динамичным геймплеем.
This game is hot garbage. Everything feels sluggish and weak. Most of the upgrades make you worse, several of them make the game totally unplayable. If you like slowly sliding balls at an enemy for 12 minutes until his health bar hits zero, this is the game for you.
Competent clone of https://store.steampowered.com/app/113200/The_Binding_of_Isaac/ Easier and much higher resolution. I got as far as the third boss (not the third room) on my first try. On a controller, you have to aim with the right stick AND then hold fire to fire. Just make the right stick do both jobs. The power-ups are mildly interesting. I can't really see anything to dislike here... I guess I'm just sick of fantasy dungeon setting.
