About Necroslayer

Open World Roguelite
Necroslayer is a dark fantasy styled, open world roguelite game, aimed at capturing the old school sword and sorcery experience with some new elements. Play as one of several characters unlocked through the story, each with a unique load out and stats, with meta progression to improve survivability each play through. Explore the world to gain new weapons, armors, and levels. In no time you'll become unstoppable against the hordes of undead.

The Story
Dark magic has been unleashed into the world. The once dead corpses and their spirits have awakened, many being coerced for evil, but other friendly ancestor ghosts also roam the land. The story begins in the village of Mara, where a group of adventurers has formed together to put a stop to the undead plaguing the lands. The village wizard Crookstaff has taken it upon himself to help guide these adventurers against this great evil. Several of these heroes are local villagers, others are from far away lands, and some have motives of their own.

Nice oldschool roguelite fantasy rpg. Took me 4 hours to beat. Suffers from fps drops in some areas.2 found this helpful
Haven't played much, but a fun romp with good combat. Also, big fan of the lighting - only knew a skele was behind me from his shadow... damn lights saved my life.1 found this helpful
Diamond in the rough for anyone looking for a medieval fantasy game.
So, I played this game. Looking for a action fantasy style game. It wasn't disappointing. It is in many ways reminiscent of those classic D&D games from the 90s. Is this game going to get best graphics of 2024 by IGN? No, but sometimes graphics don't make a game, its substance. I think this game definitely has substance. The small details, like the font being medieval designs. The names of the characters the fact if you die 5 times, it automatically puts you in super easy, and you got to beat the game to get into hard mode. Honestly, this game made me have so much nostalgia for the games I played as a kid. Having tons of new game plus content, all sorts of new classes you can play as. Reminiscent of Morrowind in upon a new game you can replay and just destroy everybody. It definitely has some of the best replay value I've seen in years. Honestly, as anyone can see I've only had this game for 6 hours, I had to quit playing because I realized I had responsibilities. I thought, I'd leave a review before getting back to my studies. Now, I will say is this a AAA game? No, but it is definitely a diamond in th…1 found this helpful
Fun little indie game with a nice nostalgic feel to it. Thankfully not too complicated or obtuse in direction so I didn't need to look at a guide, which wouldn't matter anyways since when I played there wasn't any. Might go back one day to mop up those slutty achievements but I'm not sure. Recommend for people who enjoy an older classic dungeon crawler.
