This game might well have been a bit to young or cosy for me, but I didn't find the plot that compelling and a game that talks so much about music and performing without being able to show it is always going to be a hard sell. If you're looking for something that's comfortable with pretty art I might still recommend giving it a try, since it's free.

It's so fun and cute! I like that the main characters change in every story, so the Default Otome Starters aren't us but part of an ensemble! We may start with them, but after that they're just one of the guys, ahah. I'll say the humor gets a bit less fun after almost 5 hours, because everyone talks very similar, but it's not a big deal. It's not meant to be profound, it's the most simple of stories (and not even 10k words, since each is divided into two povs of the same events, so it's more like 6 x 2 x 5k) that exist to be bright and fun! I didn't expect much (partly because I didn't pay much attention to the store page, partly because I thought we'd really follow the brown-haired duo) but I was very pleasantly surprised. Having the stories fully independent was an excellent choice. The art is really pretty and I especially liked the costumes in the battle lives!! I have only finished EP1 so far but I would urge you to give it a try. I mean it's literally free anyways
