Battle of Hořice 1423

Just a really nice, quick, simple game that also teaches you a bit about Czech history ♥ You can also play with up to 3 other people and since the controls are easy, you can really have fun with anyone!

The main issue is that the core game loop is just not fun at all and is extremely repetitive. I played about half of the levels but got quickly bored after about first three. You collect X amount of some item by just following an arrow (no map either so you can't really plan ahead to optimize your route). After level 4 enemies start to spawn and you need to defeat them but the combat is not engaging nor satisfying. The promise to teach you about history also doesn't seem to get fulfulled much. I don't think as the game is right now there is target audience for it. I'd recommend adding more mechanics and/or reworking the core gameplay loop to something less repetitive and more engaging. On the other hand the simple lowpoly graphics look great and the dynamic angle of the splitscreen function is really sweet and I love it. I also liked that the enemies with more health get thrown away when you swing at them. This leads to some potentially interesting situations where you throw enemies across a fence so they now need to pathfind a longer distance.
