Immersion at its finest

This game feels almost bipolar in its design, which oddly adds to the overall experience. At times, it feels like a poorly made game trying to reach beyond its limits but then it shifts, delivering moments so exceptional they’re hard to put into words.

The game looks awesome at first sight, but when you actually start to play it, everything falls apart. Beginning with that quest with Tomcat where you barely can do the right moves of that combo after many tries and almost an hour lost and many searches of how to actually do it. After that, when you play for two hours and then die, you have to start again from the last saving game spot. Because you can”t save the game when you want it or need it, unless you have a schnaps potion, which you don”t. This is so frustrating. The character is very weak at first. You need weapons and armour to do the quests, but you can”t buy them, because you don”t have enough money. Then, the money are very hard to gather. Although you can eat almost anything (fruits, bread, meat) is not enough to cover the hunger. So, whatever you do, is never enough. I want to like the game and play it, but every time i feel like Don Quijote. Fighting with giants. Not cool.
