About Betrayal At Club Low
Tonight you’re on a surprise mission at the inimitable Club Low. This former coffin factory-turned-nightclub has, for years, been a beacon of nocturnal energy, a haven for wild-limbed dancing, mind-altering music and shady characters aplenty. It's also a place to prove your skills as an undercover agent. An old colleague is trapped in the club, caught up in an intel-gathering mission with a notorious business captain. Your mission is to sneak into the club incognito and get him out before he blows his cover. Can you do it?
Betrayal At Club Low offers up a surreal setting rooted in Cosmo D's previous games, tactile dice-driven gameplay, and tense decisions at every turn. There are multiple ways to approach your mission, and eleven possible endings based on the choices you make along the way.

Inspired by short, punchy, independent zine RPGs, this game evokes the feel of a one-off tabletop session, with Cosmo D as your guide.
You show up to the club with seven skills: Athletics, Cooking, Deception, Music, Observation, Wisdom and Wit. These skills manifest as dice you'll be rolling throughout your mission. In Club Low, you upgrade your skills by upgrading individual faces of your dice, then roll 'em live with real-time dice physics.
Club Low is a deceptively dangerous place that rewards the curious, the bold and the whimsical. You can approach your mission in a myriad of ways, and depending on the choices you make, the outcomes of your mission are numerous. Care to discover all eleven endings?
Sure, Betrayal At Club Low's mission can be played in an evening, but it can also be replayed with new challenges and difficulty modes to uncover new layers of risk and reward.
It wouldn't be a Cosmo D game without pizza, and in Betrayal At Club Low, pizzas take the form of dice, too! Roll your Pizza Dice to get paid, get healed, and gain an edge in the club.
The story of Club Low folds into the wider narrative tapestry of Off-Peak City.

Another quirky adventure game from Cosmo D! Set in the same surreal world as his previous games, pizza-making is back, but this time with a new mechanic: pizza dice! And it's even funnier than the previous installments. I highly recommend!
RPG where you just talk to people and roll dice but it works and is cool
Fantastically unique character building RPG with excellent art direction and sound. The scene composition, the lighting, the music, and the writing culminate together to create a striking treat for the senses. The "found asset" vibe of the models only enhances the aesthetic and intentional disorientation at play. My first playthrough took about 3.5 hours, but there's a lot of replay value here.
This is a bit of a litmus test for your taste in games. Are you the kind of person that cares about graphics? Maybe you think this looks like a bit of an asset flip with a coat of neon paint? How about this: this game uses the aesthetic of an asset flip to get away with some really cool visual storytelling. Think of it as an impressionist painting: things look striking and strange to draw your attention to something. For example, you talk to a security guard. The guy is almost twice your size - literally: the proportions are the same, but the model is scaled 2x. This would look weird with a different art style, but here it looks natural. Or all the bizarre animations that represent your character's actions. Making pizza looks like you're a DJ, mixing tunes over a console. Dancing looks like it'd barely be physically possible, all the while your character's facial expression is stone cold. Weird? Or genius, and using surreal imagery to tell a surreal story? Honestly, the story is not that surreal when you break it down; but the way its told very much is. It's a vibe, first and foremost. There really are no rules, you can't plan for anything; just go in and roll the pizza dice. H…
Considering how full this games is of nonsense (and I say that full of love for nonsense!) it is surprising how much sense this short story makes. Also special mention for the soundtrack, I accidentaly found the perfect background music for concentrated working :D
It was ... OK. I expected more tbh, but I think this unusual small RPG is worth its price.
