Big Mutha Truckers

That’s the game that kicked off my virtual long-haul trucking adventure, hahaha. I remember this game from back when I had a PlayStation 2; back then, I found it both fun and challenging. But now, playing it again more than 15 years later, it doesn’t seem nearly as difficult. I also want to note that the game runs on Windows 10 with modern PC specs without any bug fixes, patches, or other updates-and to be honest, it only crashed for me three times during the entire time I played. In 17 hours, I completed all the missions on 5-star some of them made me angry, but most went perfectly on the second try. I strongly recommend limiting the frame rate to 30 fps if you’re going to play through them, because with a high frame rate for example, in the mission where you have to transport money—the door will open every second and the money will fly away; there are a couple of other missions where the frame rate affects what happens. I also managed to win first place after 60 days, but the lead isn’t huge about 6 million dollars and I think it’s possible to earn even more. Just how I remembered it on the Ps2, I'm not a dumb kid though and I'm able to understand what I'm doing. I was able to set up controller mapping pretty easily which was nice.

My first actual trucking game from my childhood. Had this classic on the gamecube and it's a fever dream! Drive by the rules or just got flatout and ram into traffic, police and bikers! That's not to mention that some parts/objects can be destroyed like fences, some buildings and billboards! The thing with this game is , the more you mess about, the more you find out. Keep causing crashes with bikers who will try steal your load. The bikes get upgraded to trikes, Keep having police chases, they upgrade from police cars to armoured swat vans! Yes there's only 60 days but honestly that's fine. You get to choose from four characters with their own personality and truck. These also come with upgrades that you can buy and you can make your own logo too! This game also teaches about stocks in a way, buy cheep , sell high is the slogon but you gotta know what sells good in certain cities and depending on what time too as there's events that happen like a city needs jet fuel, you find a place that sells cheap and you sell in city that demands it!
