I'm not really sure if World Truck Racing is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, or at least they seem very similar to the assets I've seen in a bunch of asset flips, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. It is, however, extremely badly made, just like a lot of asset flips are. This "truck racing" game has you driving around various real world professional racing tracks, but in a truck cab. It's pretty shallow stuff. The trucks look okay, but the game they've been slapped onto is deplorably bad quality... it barely even works. Glitchy menus, completely unpolished, janky gameplay... you can see why I might get suspicious that this is some kind of asset flip. Who else has great looking assets slapped onto a…3 found this helpful

somehow worse than flatout 3 0/10
World Truck Racing, oh boy. This game is a classic example of a concept that could have been great, but the execution leaves much to be desired. It’s a truck racing game, but it seems like the developers forgot what makes a racing game fun and exciting. First off, the controls are as stiff as a board, making the supposedly simple act of steering feel like a Herculean task. You’re supposed to navigate your truck around the track, but the clunky controls make this more difficult than it needs to be. The graphics are nothing to write home about either. They’re simple and lackluster, lacking the polish and detail that could have made the game visually appealing. It’s like the developers decided to go for a minimalist approach, but ended up with a game that looks unfinished. But perhaps the most frustrating thing about World Truck Racing is its lack of depth. There’s no progression system, no upgrades for your truck, no variety in the gameplay. You just keep doing the same thing over and over again, with the only change being the increasing speed of the trucks. It’s monotonous and quickly becomes boring. In conclusion, World Truck Racing is a game that had potential, but ultimately …
This game is absolute garbage. The graphics came out of a 1939 stop-motion and the controls don't really control. Please give me a refund for £0.39.
Reviews aren't "mostly negative", they're all negative. The positive reviews are gag or troll reviews. Don't be fooled into thinking this game has any kind of redeeming value. There are no real positive reviews. And for good reason, this game is awful. Even the arguably worst game of all time, Big Rigs Over the Road Racing, had some value in that it was so bad it was funny. This one hits the sweet spot of being not comically bad, but just short of that so that you can't even have the joy of laughing at it.
